And Now We're Done...
Elsewhere on the interwebz, "Gary Potter" noticed:
"Toonami Jetstream is now officially dead. toonamijetstream.com [fixed that for you ;)] takes you to a message saying that Naruto has been moved to CN Video and the other shows are all gone. Not only that, but every anime show besides Naruto, Pokémon, and Bakugan has been removed from the CN show pages.
Well, it was fun."
Yeah.. it was, wasn't it?

Succession
Toonami may be dead, but the spirit of the block still lives on in the bowels of the Internet (besides Jetstream, of course).
This site might not update like it used to, but if you still want your regular Toonami news fix, check out the new fansite, Toonami Feed. If you're wondering about the fate of the shows come and gone on Toonami and Jetstream as time went on (Remember Eyeshield 21? Whatever happened to that?) or just want some regular blog posts, weekly schedules, and general updates on the state of Jetstream, be sure to check out the feed.

A final goodbye.
I've been away for so long that I missed the end. I feel the need to say a few things, no it's not news, it's thanks.
I realized tonight that I've been watching Toonami for nearly 10 years. 10 wonderful years. The block not only reintroduced me to shows I had long forgotten but also brought new ones to my eyes. It showed me that not all anime is garbage (though most still is :p). But most importantly it brought about TDA and it's forums and later, TDI. I remember religiously checking it wanting to keep abreast with all its denizens. From this simple block of cartoons we all were brought together and became friends.
It's these friends who've come and gone, brought drama and humor to the moments of our lives when we were all together, that I want to thank. I will not name any names, for I know I will leave somebody out who I should not but you all know who you are. I do and will treasure the time we've all invested here over the years.
Click read more for one final musing.

The Revolution Has Been Televised
Since Tyler gave his final piece (see below), I figured I may as well, since I've been the main reporter here since the beginning. The curtains have closed and a childhood relic has left the building.
I'd like to thank everyone for their support over the six years since we launched this neato side-project. I had a great time as much as you.
Tyler, Beefy, Zogg, Andro, Nobu, Knux, and the rest of the crew from our buddy sites like Cody, Preston, Jeff, and Nick (if I forgot any names, I apologize): Thank you for joining us on this decade-long rollercoaster. They can be fun for so long, but the gears will have to rust eventually.
Although I'm sad to see this recent news, I can't say I don't support their decision. Considering the block's continuing shrinkage since 2003 and (de)evolving network management, we all knew the future was bleak, and when the only thing left became an hour of fillers and reruns, we knew the bell was ringing, but even through thick and thin, Toonami still managed to place fresh water into this drying well, and the farewell message, just like its entire history, ended with a bang.
Thank you, Williams Street, for keeping us entertained for 11 years. Even in the worst of times, you were still there for us.
Moltar, TOM, Flash, D, Sara, and Clyde: Goodbye, and thanks for the revolution.

Short title, eh?
An unexpected acquisition popped up on Jetstream today: Kiba, CN's latest acquisition from ADV in three years.
Here's the series' synopsis (taken from Anime News Network): "In an overbuilt world, young Zed dreams of freedom and of a
door. While fleeing the authority of his world, he is transported to a
completely different place, a world of nature instead of machines.
There he meets the young girl Roia and learns that he is a Shard
Caster. He can cast Shards and control “Spirits”. Unbeknowst to Zed,
his best friend Noah has also travelled to the new world. Noah and Zed
become enmeshed in the ways of their new world, while growing into
their new abilities."
