Schedules We stayed gold, and now we have our reward. (UPDATE #2)

I wish I could say Toonami is back, but it's not exactly the case. However, CN has heard our cries for an action block on Saturday nights and responded.

CN's Friday "You Are Here" block is now having a Saturday block, starting this week at 7PM. (UPDATE: It turns out not to be the case. It's just an unnamed block of action programming.) Here's the lineup for the block. (UPDATE: Last-minute schedule changes have been made. Thanks, Nobuyuki!)

7PM - Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Bakugan Battle Brawlers
7:30PM - Bakugan Battle Brawlers Super Hero Squad
8PM - Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5 Teen Titans
8:30PM - Batman: The Brave and the Bold
9PM - The Secret Saturdays
9:30PM - Justice League Unlimited

Schedules October is Movie Month! Oh, and Naruto Premieres Continue

While the block continues to air new episodes of Naruto, Fantastic Four, Zatch Bell!, Bo^7 and... Pokemon Chronicles, movies are the dominant theme in October, starting with the return of Princess Mononoke on October 14th, and the debuts of Ultimate Avengers 2 and Hellboy: Sword of Storms on the 21st and 28th, respectively.

Another special treat for pumpkin month is the repeat presentation of the Justice League Unlimited series finale, "Alive!" and "Destroyer", paired up with Princess Mononoke.

Schedules Luffy! Long Time, No See!; Also, DVD "Trouble" in November (NOT!)

After being pre-empted by an encore presentation of Fantastic Four last night (Sept. 16th), Luffy and his pirate crew pick up where they left off and return to their regular rerun slot next Saturday (Sept. 23rd) at 10:30 PM E/P.

Also, Toon Zone reports that the release date for the Teen Titans in Tokyo DVD will be November 7th, but they have no further details regarding special features (if any) or price (I'd guess $19.99, considering similar  prior releases).

UPDATE: Well, I was close. TV Shows on DVD had information on 3T back in June, stating the special features would include "The Lost Episode", previously only available as a promotional item from Post Cereals, and a game called "Robin's Underworld Race Challenge". Suggested retail price will be $19.98.

UPDATE #2 (Sept. 24th): Sorry, folks. Warner Home Video has contacted Toon Zone and informed them that a release date has not been set, and at this point in time, it would "definitely" not be in November.

The preliminary full September schedule for Toonami has been posted at Toon Zone, and we've got good news and bad news.

The good news: Specials and premieres debut for the new fall season!

The bad news: They involve Pokemon and Pokemon Chronicles.

On top of the already-announced series premiere of Fantastic Four on September 2nd (with new episodes following every Saturday), and the continued airing of new episodes of Naruto, Zatch Bell and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, September 9th gives us the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Special while September 16th is the Toonami presentation of Teen Titans in Tokyo.
