Schedules One Piece Launches May 18th

:add: the Toonami folks chime in!
"After talking to lots and lots of fans and a lot of internal discussion, we’ve decided to start at episode 207 with the “Ling Ring Long Land” arc (or “Davy Fight Back” arc as it’s also known). We know we’re skipping ahead a bunch, but we think this is a great place to start- plus, it’ll be in HD! For those of you who are worried you won’t be able to jump in to the story, don’t worry! Go to Funimation.com now and you can watch ALL of the older episodes, plus there are a bunch of cool little video “catch up” pieces for folks who just want the overview. In addition, our friends at Funimation are working on some “orientation/catch up” pieces we’ll be putting on Toonami."

the Tumblr also brings us the revised schedule:

12:00 – Bleach

12:30 – (Uncut) Naruto

01:00 – One Piece

01:30 – Soul Eater

02:00 – IGPX

02:30 – Eureka

04:30 – Cowboy Bebop

Schedules Rollin' At 'Ya on April 27th!

Straight Outta' Tumblr:

"Why should you care about April 27th? Two reasons:

1. On April 27th, Toonami will relaunch with a new TOM, a new Absolution, and a new on-air look. We’ll share more details our new look as we get closer to that date!

2. IGPX IS COMING BACK!!

No, really. Thanks to our incredibly generous partners, thanks to a lot of folks doing a lot of paperwork, and thanks to the very unique and complex structure of the IGPX production deal, we were able to bring the show out of retirement so you guys can see it again, or for the first time!

Couple points: We will be very slightly shuffling the lineup to fit IGPX. We’ll announce that exact schedule closer to the 27th. It will most likely involve removing one episode of Bebop, taking us to a half hour weekly. Also, for those Megas XLR fans out there wondering if this means we can bring back Megas…. we can’t, sorry. Simply put, it’s a very different animal, and the exact elements that made IGPX’s return possible are not in place for Megas.

ANYWAY! We’re very excited to re-air, for the first time, Toonami’s only original series, and one we’re very proud of! We hope you guys enjoy it.

Watch this space in the coming month for more details about TOM 5, The new Absolution, the Toonami comic, the lineup for April 27th, and when One Piece is finally coming!

WE WILL NEVER STOP

Love, the Toonami crew."

Changes of plans, guys! Off the Air WON'T be airing on the DST hour.

According to DeMarco's Twitter, they'll be airing Inuyasha instead.

  Schedules Goodness! More changes!

Aside from the Samurai 7 premiere next week, we also get ANOTHER show!

Eureka Seven, a show from days of Adult Swim lore, also makes its way to Toonami at 1:30. Meanwhile, FMA: Brotherhood and GitS:SAC are bumped down half an hour, and Cowboy Bebop is taken off.

Watch the promo here, at least until Tyler or Beefy gets it.
