"Deadman" and "Casshern" Premieres Are #1
According to Zap2It's monthly ratings scorecard, the series premiere of Deadman Wonderland was #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 (up 14% vs. the 2011 time period), men 18-34 and men 18-24 (up 2%). Immediately following, the series premiere of Casshern Sins ranked #1 in the time period among men 18-34 & 18-24.
Regarding the block's overall debut ratings Toonami Veep Jason DeMarco responds, "We need to do better".

Media Research. Presented within TOONAMI, the network’s weekend franchise of action-adventure programming, Zatch Bell (Saturday, 8:30 p.m.), Naruto (Saturday, 9 p.m.) and One Piece
(Saturday, 9:30 p.m.) also produced considerable growth among kids 6-11
throughout November, and the later two series both ranked #1 on all
television—broadcast and cable—for delivery and ratings of boys 9-14.

Adding a fifth month to its 2005 streak of record-breaking Kids’ Total Day performances, Cartoon Network set new May delivery and ratings records across its target demographics—kids 6-11, kids 2-11 and tweens 9-14—according to Nielsen Media Research. The network also charted its best-ever May Kid’s Total Day (Monday-Sunday, 6 a.m.-6 a.m.) delivery and ratings among boys and girls 6-11, and boys and girls 2-11. Overall among all ad-supported basic cable networks, Cartoon Network ranked #4 in May delivery of persons 2+ in total programming day.
Leading the way among its May success stories, Cartoon Network’s FRIDAYS (6:30 p.m.-12 a.m.) earned double-digit delivery and ratings growth thanks to the outstanding continuing performances of its key original series, Codename: Kids Next Door, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and Hi, Hi Puffy Ami Yumi. Similarly, TOONAMI (Saturday, 7-11 p.m.) proved its delivery and ratings power among older kids fueled by the top performances from its original series Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited.

One week prior to the highly anticipated opening of the new Star Wars feature film, Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: Clone Wars earned the network’s top tweens 9-14 delivery of the week across its three-hour marathon on Saturday (7-10 p.m.), according to Nielsen Media Research. The marathon presentation also tied the tweens 9-14 delivery and ratings of a brand new episode of Codename: Kids Next Door (Friday, 6:30 p.m.), which kicks off Cartoon Network’s signature FRIDAYS franchise (6:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.).
