I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'm ready to watch as soon as Pioneer's ready to release. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I've heard nothing at all about it.
How about giving the clueless people some info. For example: what it's about, TV, OAV, or movie, who made it, why you like it, etc. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Its 13 eps long.. its kinda ahrd to explain whats it about tho... but, its quite emotional and its not really a comedy or an action anime. |

Oh that's the ones with the people who aren't angels or humans but something in between. They aren't born with their wings and instead have them sprout out of thier backs in a rather painful way. I read about on Aluminum Studios. _________________ Bang. |

exactly, they're these sorta angel things.. but they aren't really. Haibane in japanese means "Grey wings" so the Haibane (the angel people) obviously have grey wings. Renmei means federation.
I'll try my best to give a sumamry of what its about. A girl named Rakka has jsut hatched out of her egg. Shes looks around 14-15 years old. She finds herself in a town thats walled in, and noone inside the town can go outside or knows anything about the outside world. The anime is pretty much about her trying to find out about the outside world. |

If it helps, it was created by the same guy that created Serial Experiments Lain and Niea_7. So it's probably both deep and confusing.
Here's the show's website if you want to try Babelfishing:http://www.pldc.co.jp/rondorobe/anime/haibane/index.html _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

For future reference, this is how "Have u seen dis?" threads shall proceed from now on*
Stolen from ADTRW in the SA Forums:
1. INCLUDE PICTURES FROM THE SERIES, possibly with captions if you can. That way we can have at least SOME idea of what's going on.
2. Include a summary (SPOILER FREE!) of the series, so people can determine if it's worth their attention or not.
3. Links to sites about the series are always appreciated.
* - I respectfully request we do this, because it makes it better for everyone. |

Well, with this announcement, I reckon the rest of the series won't be too far behind (*around say Christmas?)
