Post subject: Kenshin is coming back right?

| Hello. Just wandering if Kenshin is coming bck to it's regular time frame around 6:30 anytime soon. I saw the commercial so this means it will be back 8/16? Help a confused toonami viewer plz. |

well, kenshin's been airing since it left toonami, it just shifted over to the saturday video entertainment system block saturday nights at 930...they've even been continuing the story from where it left off, though it's only one episode a week as opposed to five...i'm not surprised that there are people unaware of the move, since until last week there was no on-screen advertising mentioning kenshin at all, leaving those without computer access likely thinking it was just taken off completely...
as for the mention of it's return on 8/16, i think the network's airing some special this saturday which will overlap the 930 kenshin timeslot, so those who think it may have moved again are just being reminded that it'll be back next week...
whether or not it'll return to toonami though, i can't really answer...i'm assuming they're going to stretch out the remaining episodes of the kyoto arc on the saturday block, but after that i could see it returning in reruns for a while...

Yep. They'll be airing yet another Cartoon Cartoon Weekend marathon this entire weekend.
Strangely enough, it usually happens at the END of every August, but this year, it's quite close to the beginning.

It's interesting that you would revive this year-old thread at around this time. 
Anyway, yes, Rurouni Kenshin went to SVES after it left Toonami. Since SVES isn't around anymore (it died in April), Rurouni Kenshin hasn't been back on since.
It's coming back to Toonami on October 23rd at 10:30PM. It'll be restarting from the beginning, though.
