It's quite amazing that someone can be that thick-headed. As long as the show is likeable I wouldn't give a rip if it was made on the Moon. Teen Titans and the other shows like it use stylistic elements from Japanese animation because it's popular now, they could have kept in a similar style to Justice League but the humor of Teen Titans wouldn't be the same with a more hardlined, rigid animation style. The occasionaly fluid shape of characters allows for some hilarious gags in the show, and despite this is still managed to have a pretty good plot.

Really to say that no one should copy another nations animation style is assinine. Japanese animation firms originally emulated Disney and have progressed from there, so if your way of think had been around fifty years ago most of what you so visciously defend wouldn't exsist. And besides, quit calling yourself an Otaku, it's not exactly a good thing to use that word as some sort of warped badge of honor. Considering it means having an unhealthy (almost nuerotic) obsession with one thing.

so I'm sittin here thinking again,

Some of the great painters of the past, such as Picasso were expert realists, but would have never reached such acclaim had they stuck to such a style.

But paintings don't have stories and plots so much.

Another thing I was thinking was would you hate someone who drove a japanese car or learned to speak japanese because they thought it was cool?

Heck what if someone from japan wanted to learn to speak english?

or if maybe they started using engrish?

That would be wanna be wouldn't it?

What if they were nice people? Nice good caring people. They just like something because its cool, or it works well (gotta love my 89 honda civic).

What if a bunch of guys from japan moved to america and made some anime? would that be wanna be anime? They made it in america...

Do youo not purchase clothes if they have a picture of something foreign and it says made in america?

Would you purchase something american made in malaysia?

Just a thought, or two.
