I hope nobody posted a thread on this topic yet, because I didn't see it. Anyway, here it is. I guess this is where you can talk about it.

(note: this discussion should probably be moved to the "toonami/almost toonami" forum, as it's a show currently airing on adult swim)
bear with me on character descriptions, because it usually takes me a few weeks to learn their names...
a slow first episode that reminded me a bit of witch hunter robin as far as pacing and mood...hearing johnny bosch (vash) is always a treat, though when his character (the wounded white wolf) asked, "what's wrong with killing?", i couldn't help but laugh...
it's too early for me to tell just where the series is going from here, but i'll keep watching...

I turned on my TV in time to see a preview for next week's Inu Yasha (CURSES!) and hten watched Wolf's Reign. However, I missed the last 5-10 minutes (Fell asleep. I had had a long busy day.)
Anyone wanna tell me how it ended?
I like the Bebop style. It's good for serious shows. I also like the chaging to and from Wolves. We were just sort of thrown into this world in the first ep, and a lot should be revealed. Seems good at first glance. I usually find hte first episodes of anime slow. I watch for the last few eps. Those are usually the best. Bebop rewarded me, so this should also.

it's about wolves who all have the ability t appear human. wolves are outcasts of society and hunted at every turn...most of them hate the humans while some dont mind being around them. since they can change their appearances at will, they can choose to live normal lives as humans as well as living as wolves...
this series has it's wolf hunter: an old drunken detective who has a dog at his side. he is very reminicent of Jet from Cowboy Bebop
it also has the mysterious comatose girl that seems to have strange powers like in .//Hack.Sign
and a cast of characters from white wolves to black wolves to brown wolves who all seem to be white/asian people when they become human.

Male humans at that. As of yet, we still don't have any female wolves.
Anyway, this show is awesome. can't wait to see more.

I could not watch that show.... I tried for about 6 ep's.... only thing I like is the Stray (op) and Gravity (the ending)

| I don't like this series. Many people like it while some of those are grinning while saying "What the hell am I talking about?" I really don't like the premise. |

An update on wolf's rain: The four wolves have joined forces to try and reach Paradise (which we have no clue what it is). There is a really creepy old guy who wears a mask, a nude lady with a snake all around her, and a girl in a hospital who seems to know about the other two but wont make mention of them. The phrase Red Moon has been released although no backstory to that just yet. No more news on comatose girl. Although something has happened to her, which seems to have affected the wolves. Also a legend that humans may have come from wolves (instead of Apes) has been stated. That's about it. Now for my question.
WHy is Wolf's Rain called Wolf's Rain and not Wolf's Reign
i see a lot of people spell it like the second one not realizing what they put down, but it's actually Rain. why is that?

i really enjoyed last week's episode, as seeing the other wolf pack's views on the world made for a good balance from kiba's optimistic approach...it seemed that the characters were as surprised to see a female wolf as i was, so i wonder how that'll play out...
after being a bit disappointed with witch hunter robin (which admittedly, i overhyped myself for), i've been rather pleased with how wolf's rain has progressed thus far...

hmm.....still no one answers my question....i think we are all hiding from the truth!
update
after female wolfage, we have, finally, the FLOWER MAIDEN....they have been sensing her for quite sometime, and we all assumed it was the comatose girl, but she is awake now, and she has joined forces with the wolves....she can sing a song that makes all the wolves sleep, and have peaceful dreams...she's very awkward but she seems pretty cool. wierd thing about her is that she has red eyes, not only red irises, but red pupils, and red corneas...it's quite awesome....
im really liking this show, but it doesnt seem that a lot of people like it....i've seen the numbers ranking the saturday night line up and WR doesnt seem to be doing as good as the others....let's all wish for it to do well and leave our tvs on at 11:30 on saturday to CN to get those numbers up. all for now
