Not too sure how much Tyler cares about this, but I tried viewing the first One Piece openings using MPC along with Quicktime Alternative. It worked fine with the japanese language, but I couldn't click on the option to change the language to english, nor did the right-click option in MPC bring up any langauge options as it was greyed out.

Just curious if anyone knows a fix for this or do I have to download the really bloated Quicktime if I want to view any multi-lanuage clips?

That's what I'd say, too.
I think it has something to do with being able to integrate some Java controls with QT to switch the audio tracks. Something like that, anyway. Confused

The multi-language clips are designed to gracefully slink back to single language Japanese clips when viewed in a different player (MPC, VLC, etc).

The language control and full screen options are part of QuickTime Scripting and require QuickTime player.
I always thought MPC was just a frontend for the QuickTime frameworks, and it would play just like, say, a video would play in a browser using the QuickTime plugin.

I know the Windows version of QTPlayer sucks. There's a good chance that that'll change when QuickTime 7 comes out (since they already redid the player for OS X). If you have the QuickTime browser plugin, how about dragging the movie in question into a browser window? See if you get the controls that way.

Kudos to you Tyler. Even without a Windows PC you solved my problem. I opened it up in Firefox and the browser plugin takes care of the rest. Muchos Gracias.

I have two Windows PCs.
One of them I built with my bare hands when you were still in diapers.
They come in handy for VirtualDub, WinMX and WMV3-in-AVI files.

...and my brothers like them for Runescape and CounterStrike.

Question.

Is it possible to convert any of the OP/ED into mp3 files?

I'm trying to take the english version of the 4th ending of Yu Yu Hakusho to put into itunes to port over to my Ipod but I'm not having any luck.

Any suggestions?

QuickTime movies should be able to be added to an iTunes playlist just like songs can (it definitely works in iTunes 4.8).

Once it's in iTunes (and selected), do "Advanced -> Convert Selection to MP3" (or AAC. Whatever your default encoder is).
That will make an iPodable version of the song. It'll probably only work for the default audio track, which is Japanese.
