ok so i just finished watching eva for the first time....that was a lil depressing, but ya know its good not to destroy the wolrd for once....but i wish i could see the instrumentality of asuka and rei...or whateverand is it me or was karou a pussy who got killed way to easy

I take it you're referring to the TV ending, not the movie ending?
In my lowly opinion the TV ending was better than the movie ending anyway.

in my opinion if people complained enough to get anno to make a second ending...then people suck...they just dont appreciate a quality ending....i have yet to see the movie ending but its prolly just a blood guts kill me kill you we all kill eachother end of story type thing

No, he wasn't that easy to kill... after all, his death caused Shinji a lot of pain, so Kaoru's death is arguably the most difficult one of all the angels, since it causes Shinji to so completely wig out (you'll understand better when you see the End of Evangelion movie...) There's something to be said about a sadistic character who knows that their death will cause untold amounts of personal anguish upon his enemy (ie: Legato Bluesummers from Trigun)... to me, those are the most insidious and dramatic villains... Sure, the bad guy died, but it caused the good guy to question everything in his life, redefine his morals...

Yeah your not talking about the movie ending. And i have End of Evangelion on my list with Netflix. But the DVD apparently hasnt been released yet.
As for episode 26 of the TV Series. I went over that in a thread a long long time ago. I was disapointed in the worst way over that. You lead up to a lot of events and then have Shinji go through that little drug sequence?! It completly ruined how i had felt about the series up to that point. Up to 25 i thought it was one of the better anime's i had watched. I wouldnt call 26 quality anime. I would say thats all in the eye of the person who watched it. Some will see it as the right ending. And some will see it, like me, as a quick japanese way out of a lot of plot lines. |

Basically, that's what it was. I would like to see 6 or so more episodes, detailing all major characters' judgements. That would make me happy.

well i shall say this....i would enjoy either ending....i guess ive seen a good amount of desrtuction in anythnig iv watched lastely(go see the last samurai its a lil weird but awesome) im gonna go hardcore the movie ending for destruction just cuz its always good to see evas kill eachother but i guess i like the whole detail of the characters i just really do wish asuka and rei...well asuka could get whatevered cuz rei is kinda off cuz shes not particulalry real....or somethin....
so yeah any animes u can suggest to fill my time would be good

Saikano, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, 08thMS Team. Those four and Eva are what I consider the best 5 animes (followed closely by Ah! My Godess, Gundam 0080, Spirited Away, Read Or Die, and Digi Charat).

You could fill up you time by downloading the Naruto fansubs(non-licensed)
and the One Piece fansub(not-licensed)

Personally, I thought End of Eva was a much better ending to the series. The actual ending made no sense and gave two of the people I was watching it with seizures
