Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi - One of Japan's biggest pop music acts arrives in America, not with a massive stadium tour but as a cartoon. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, set to debut in December, follows the adventures of two very cool, but very different, pop stars as they travel from gig to gig or just hang out in their hometown of Tokyo.

Megas XLR - A new action-comedy series about a 20-something grease monkey who discovers a giant fighting robot from the future in a New Jersey landfill. Premieres on Saturday, May 1, at 9 p.m. (yeah yeah, we all aknow about this one)

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - From Craig McCracken, creator of The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends premieres with a 90-minute feature on Friday, July 16, followed by the series premiere on Friday, September 3.

Justice League Unlimited - The heroes of the Justice League return in August with a new series, Justice League Unlimited, which incorporates a bold new look and a much larger scope. (So all that crap I reported before WAS true).

Atomic Betty - This new series, set to premiere in September, follows the adventures of Betty, a little girl with a secret superhero identity.

Craig McCracken, creator of the Emmy Award-winning series The Powerpuff Girls, brings his new animated series to Cartoon Network in 2004. Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends premieres with a 90-minute movie on Friday, July 16. The series premiere will air Friday, Sept. 3.

�Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends is about friendship. It�s a character-based comedy about all the fun you can have when your best buddies are a collection of oddballs and misfits,� said McCracken. �It�s a 100-percent character driven show that focuses on good stories and great jokes and takes advantage of creativity and imagination.�

"Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends is a rambling Victorian mansion that serves as a haven for imaginary friends who are no longer wanted or needed by their former owners. The eccentric Madame Foster is the matriarch of the home, and she shows her unyielding love of all imaginary friends by housing, feeding and providing emotional support to them while helping to match them with new kids.

"One day, a smart, creative boy named Mac is told by his mom that he�s too old to keep his imaginary friend, Bloo, any longer. Mac is not ready to part with Bloo, so he takes his imaginary friend to Madame Foster and strikes a deal. As long as Mac will visit every day, the staff of Madame Foster�s promises not to let Bloo be adopted by anyone else. Mac soon becomes a favorite at Madame Foster�s � all of the other imaginary friends take a liking to him and he�s "adopted" as a surrogate kid for each of them.

"Madame Foster�s has attracted a motley crew of imaginary friends. Wilt was originally created as a playmate for a basketball-loving boy, but when his family moved, he was forced to fend for himself. Though he lost an eye and an arm, Wilt retains his positive, can-do attitude. Eduardo looks tough on the outside, with a stocky, muscular frame, fangs, horns and a pointy tail. But he�s really kind of jittery. Almost anything � car alarms, falling leaves and especially children � can scare this imposing fellow. Coco was salvation for a little girl stranded on a desert island, but all that solitude does things to a creature. Coco is always teetering on the edge of sanity.

"Helping run the home is Mr. Herriman, who was Madame Foster�s imaginary friend when she was young. Mr. Herriman is a remnant of a bygone era: he�s proper, well mannered and expresses very little emotion. Managing the daily operations of the house with an iron fist � or, rather, an iron paw � Mr. Herriman is a giant bunny who wears a bowtie, spats, top hat and monocle. Frankie, Madame Foster�s 22-year-old granddaughter, makes sure that Madame Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends stays on track. She cooks, cleans and handles the never-ending crises (and occasional adoptions). Dealing with a house full of rambunctious imaginary friends is a lot of hard work and not always a lot of fun. But if Frankie can help a kid get what her parents would not allow her to have, then she�s darn well going to do it.

"Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends is McCracken�s highly anticipated follow-up to Cartoon Network�s most successful animated project, The Powerpuff Girls. McCracken is the creator, writer and producer of The Powerpuff Girls, Cartoon Network�s Emmy Award-winning animated series about three super-powered little girls. It is also announced that McCracken also served as director of The Powerpuff Girls Movie, released in July 2002 by Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Pictures. A graduate of Cal Arts, he worked as the art director for the four time Emmy-nominated series Dexter's Laboratory and also served as art director on the first season of 2 Stupid Dogs. McCracken was named to Entertainment Weekly�s "It List," citing the most creative people in entertainment, in 1999."
