Im still thinking about what I took away from "The Ventures". Is it the jokes about Johnny Quest? The son wearing Freds shirt? Is it that I hear the Tick, well Patrick Warburtons live action one, when I see brock? Maybe its the reference to cosmetics testing with the dog. Or the fact it looks like Ren and Stimpy and couldnt be further from a Ren and Stimpy episode. I laughed hard at the first half and cringed at most of the second half. I covered his eyes several times. Its ultra violent to the point of almost going to far. I mean Brock poked out Monarch's eyes at the end.

Thoughts, observations? I think they should run this in a block with Teen Titans to really screw with the 6-11 age brackets minds.

The Venture Bros. is a comedy show, not an action show. Though the idea of screwing with the 6-11 age demographic sounds like a sweet, dirty treat Twisted Evil it doesn't deserve to be on a block like CCF or SVES, because the show doesn't fit those blocks. It stays and belongs on Adult Swim.

Kind of a really odd thing to start AS off with, seeing as just HOW adult it was right after Xmen Evolution. Either way, I watched 5 minutes of it and then got sick of it. But that's just me.

At least Trigun was a good episode. I'm finally getting around to watching it ^_^

The first 5 minutes weren't the best part of the episode and neither was the last 5. The middle was the meat of the episode.

I agree this is to much for the 11 o'clock slot. I mean Brock took Monarchs eyes out! Start with harvey birdman and then work into this after the 15 minute shows are done.
