Post subject: Blue Gender... more mecha makes its way to AS

Being the mecha fan that I am, I have been eagerly awaiting the debut of Blue Gender. Being from one of the masterminds behind Gasaraki and Armored Trooper Votoms I expect to see good things. Your thought go in the place in the thing with the reply box

 Hey, I had no idea Blue Gender was a mecha title! That just bumped up my anticipation for it to astronomical levels! Along with the debut of FLCL, AS is back in action! Now if only my DirecTV service didn't show everything in a slightly pixelated fashion...  |

Watching FL CL then moving into Blue Gender is an odd change of shows. So im going to leave the review up to someone else.
Would it happen to be done by the same people who did Blue Sub 6? It feels the same

If you're refering to the animation studio, then no. Blue Sub 6 was done by Gonzo, Blue Gender was done by AIC.
As far as the story writers, I have no idea.

| More the story line. It feels very cliche at the moment. But then its only episode 1. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and see what happens. |

I just want to know why they would save that guy. He's terminally ill and they lost 2 of their men doing it. I hope there was a damn good reason for wanting to save him.

Hmm, here's a random thought. Maybe his disease can be used against the bugs. They said "I have the specimen". So it wasn't like they were looking for just him.

They saved him because the woman appear to be strong willed. So you need a weak character to have to protect. He appears to be that weak character.
And the line was "We have the sample". Which I thought was odd. But then after watching FL CL it seemed completly normal. |

After watchin FLCL Micheal Jackson marrying Boy George while each are dressed up as cross dressing ducks would seem absolutely normal. ^_^

The blonda pilot woman(don't know her name), her hair style looks just like Armitage's. And the animation style looks quite similar to Ghost in the Shell. Anyways, Yuji man is just a little wimpy boy, he better learn to kick ass soon. And I don't know what suddenly gave him the bals to be like "I'm not going down without a fight!!!! ....not to them...." but oh well. So far so good.
