1) Neon Genesis Evangelion - Shinji actually has a backbone in the manga. *gasp!*
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is a great character designer. The story is almost the same as the anime, but with fewer angels. On the plus side it has more Kaji background in it.

2) Cowboy Bebop - Features stories not found in the anime, such as Ed's boyfriend, Faye's mentor, and more secrets of the hyperspace gates.

3) Big O - Features stories not found in the anime. Now if I could only find time to start reading it.

. . . *drumroll*

Ah! My Goddess, of course. It's freaking awesome, very cool and hilarious. Belldandy's a full, developed, and dynamic character, unlike in the OVA, and there are soo many great characters. Urd = great.

I'd have to go for OMG, followed closely by Azumanga Daioh. Man that stuff's hilarious.

I have the first two volumes of Evangelion, but they're kinda expensive. The third ones not too long and its 15 bucks! I did like what I read though. Bebops on my wishlist. Big O, of wat I've read, is pretty good. (The shows better though)

This year VIZ will be re-releasing the Evangelion books in the new smaller size and smaller price ($9.95) They will be non-fliped and keep the original Japanese sound effects.

As a result, the larger flipped and English sound effect editions will be discontinued. Bummer for me because I happen to like that format.

Yes, Naruto rocks. But I wasn't too impressed with the Trigun manga. It was good the first time, but its not a read again kind of thing. The show is much better.

Of course not, less people that know it means less people who I have to contend with in order to secure the rights to make it into a series and a game.

I'd watch it. Smile

Not my most favorite, but I have to mention Cerebus, since it's ending next month- 300 issues, 6,000 pages, 26 years in the making. With only two guys producing it for the major part of its run (one guy writing and drawing the characters from the beginning, the other only doing backgrounds and set design since issue 85). Not something you see very often.
I'll miss the little grey runt.

I've only read a couple Cerebus books, I liked what I read but my local stores never had him in stock. I think it's time to check out ebay. Ebay rocks for aquiring comics.
