I'm going to have to stick with what I said in another message board.
I wrote:
I can't bring myself to believe in ghosts until I actually have an encounter. But that's mostly due to my desire for a simple universe. It's so much less complicated to believe that when you die, that's it.

I don't believe in ghosts because no one has presented good evidence that they actually exist. Although people claim to have experienced encounters with ghosts, that doesn't mean they are real. What you think you are experiencing and what is real are not always the same. _________________ Able and Baker is nice.

Yes, in the sense that I believe in memories of past lives, remote viewing, seeing the future, and out of body experiences.
I personally think there's some form of brainwave responsible for ALL of these phenomena, which leaves a heavy 3D imprint that other brains are able to bick up on from great distances through time and space. Of course, in this instance, a ghost would be the most powerful, the brainwave constructing a self-preserving pattern that sometimes is able to interact on a physical level. From this perspective, a ghost wouldn't necessarily be created by the person who died, but possibly on of thier loved ones that misses them greatly. In fact, unless they're creation required some kind of chemical release at death, one could possibly make an army of ghosts (which would be consistent with reports of telekenesis, pyrokenesis, etc.) _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

I have to agree. I myself am a psychic. I am a heavy precog ( i see the future through dreams... every freaken night!) and i also do rune readings, but that's beside the point, cause I've seen ghosts. When i wasfive and was living in ole' blue (my old house in Magnolia, NJ), i saw ghosts. It started when i was 3 and lasted up untill i was 5. Every night, a ghost of a young woman would drift out from the eastern wall and just roam around my room for a few moments, then dissappear. Somtimes she would dance, or sing, or dust, just random things. When i first saw her, i freaked out and told my parents. They just said i had an overreactive imagination. But later, they found out a young woman had ben murdered in the basement of the house, and the murderd woman looked just like the ghost i was tyalking of. After a year, she would then come over and talk to me. She would say things like "Now dear, don't be afraid of me," or "No need to fret dear, it' just a harmless thuderstorm"
things like that. The last night i was in the house befoire i moved, she came out and wished me good luck to wherever i was going. Now i wonder if she's still there, and if anyone else has seen her. She was what you'd call a kind ghost, like casper, and after awhile, she became sort of a friend. AND I SWEAR I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP! I am a psychic, and i do have some insight oin these things. I can also see auras, which may explain my ability to see ghosts. I have;nt seen any since my younger years, but i can feel the presence of "otherwordly" beings when i enter a house or other structure. _________________ If all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, what does all play and no work do for Jack?

Ooh, a psychic! There's one question I've always wanted to ask one of those. Do you ever get any false positives? Perhaps I should first ask, is there really any way of knowing a real ghost from your imagination? _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

Not necessarily. I know that my subconscious comes up with some weird wacky shit sometimes, and it doesn't care what I'd like to see. Seriously, though, have you ever thought that you've seen a ghost, but never been able to validate it? Noone ever talks about stuff like that. _________________ Krogoth uses Berserk.

I think the real question here is not "Do Ghost exists?" but rather "Why are my walls bleeding and my family members being sucked through walls?"
