Post subject: Just who should be the next king of Pride Rock?
With endless news coverage showing up left and right concerning the fate of The Walt Disney Company, from former board member rebellion to losing (Pixar) and gaining (Microsoft) new alliances to company mergers and the like, one big question comes out of this: Who should run Disney if Eisner is knocked off his pedestal?
When Roy Disney and Stanley Gold brought up the idea of Pixar chief Steve Jobs taking over, many were torn between the news (most of them leaning more towards the negative, though) and the idea of a Comcast-Disney merger is the biggest joke since AOL/Time-Warner, especially with the recent lawsuits pouring in (which were obviously expected) and Eisner rejecting the deals. With both of those possibilities out of the way, it's time for you to decide: Who do you think is fit to handle one of the world's biggest entertainment conglomerates and clean up Eisner's elephant graveyard?

First off, only Stanley said the Jobs thing.
Secondly, I would at least for the interim time until a suitable CEO can be found, Roy (I say not Stan as we already saw who he'd choose) should run the company. He would then be ablet o make all the changes that he thinks need to me made, you know, basicly get the company in the pitstop for some immediate repair so somebody else can come in and ride the race and perfect it.
On top of that, giving Roy the CEO position temporarily would allow him to make sure that a Disney gets basicly final say as to who would take over. It also would allow him to create policies that would make some of the things Eisner did/does "illegal" so there can't BE another Eisner. He could then step down into a position (and situation) where he (and Stanley) would be comfortable.
So I think what I want to say is, I should be the next CEO. The animation would be safe in my hands.

You know there are some people who don't care a single bit about what happens to disney. As for me, let's just say my image of disney was ruined 12 years ago when i first went to disneyland(3 hour lines and $6 suckers do not a happy child make). _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite.
