Here's a poll asking that question. I personally think it shouldn't because it would have to be heavilly edited which would take away from the effect of the show, but I want to get other peoples opions. POLL AWAY! _________________ LOVE & PEACE! |

No, no, and no. It was already edited enough on Adult Swim, so why do you think someone else would want even more editing? _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

Trigun would have to be edited and its way too cool without any editing and it would be stupid if there was. _________________ I am Valentinez Alkinella Xiafas Sicidabehertz Gumbigobella Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre AnarT Charton-Haymos Ivanovicci Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III

Trigun would be perfect for Toonami, it's alreaady edited, and now, they have to find a good spot for it. _________________ One Last Time, To Blow Your Mind.....

Sure it would be great if all you want to see is the cat for 30 minutes. Trigun was discussed for Toonami but was shot down for to much gunplay. The same reason as bebop not being on Toonami. This being from what i read. Overall Triguns not as gun happy as a lot of shows that toonami has shown. But its there in the title. Plus theres a whole religious side to it nearing the end. And we know that CN being in the bible belt will not show that kind of thing. Would you want the bad guys sent to another dimension?
Trigun, bebop, FLCL are all late night shows and thats also where their target audience expects them. Not after SD Gundam and a very special epside of DBZ with Goku meeting the Jeffersons |

I'd actually like to see that. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Not to give the spoiler away for that episode. But they have to find a new place to live after Robot Archie 18 blows up their tower. |

yes it is... enjoy it while it lasts...
What always amazed the hell out of me was the fact that Trigun, which is pretty tame violence-wise as far as most anime, was shoved on Adult Swim, which Rurouni Kenshin, which gets slightly more heavy with its sword-play violence as the story progresses, was thrown onto Toonami. I'm a huge fan of both starting from when they were originally fansubbed, and I seemed counter-intuitive to me, because let's face it, you get quite a bit more blood from a gaping sword wound than you do from a bullet hole...
Then again, the Kenshin OVA/Samurai X should never, EVER, under any circumstances, be allowed on CN. EVER! _________________ "The principles you live by create the world you live in; if you change the principles you live by, you will change your world." -Blaine Lee

Yeah, but how many kids are gonna find a samurai sword carelessly hidden under their parents' bed, or in a closet, or in their mom's purse? That's most likely the reason they didn't want to promote gun-toting heroes after school hours. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. I hope not. Toonami edits the crap out of everything. I hope they never do get it cause I'd have to sue for severly messing up something really awesome. They did that enough already. My dream is that toonami will say "Get away, kiddies! Make room for un-cut!" That would be great. Of course it will never happen, which is precisely why Trigun shouldn't and won't be on Toonami. Of course, Toonami's just not putting trigun on Toonami because of the gun use, not because they know it would mess up the show. _________________ LOVE & PEACE! |
