I think Fruits Basket should come to.... well, maybe not Toonami cuz it's not action, but it should be on cable tv! That show is so squeaky clean (except for Kyo's mouth) that they wouldn't even need to edit it! But yeah, on Toonami.... I'd have to say.... I dunno..... I'm not to thrilled w/ Toonami right now.... baka.... trying to bring Evangelion down to the shame a 'YTV' rating....grrrrr....

two things: 1: there is nothing wrong with disney having the rights to escaflowne, if anything they'll do more justice to it than fox did. EVEN if they never air it.
2: people who use the word baka should die terrible painful deaths, especially if that's the only japanese they know. Same goes for Kawaii.

hello and goodbye are actually useful terms to know. you're not goin to go around japan saying baka to people are you? but you might possibly say sionara on occassion. if all the japanese you know is picked up from anime... don't write it don't say it. all it does is make you look stupid. especially when it's one word in a english paragraph.

I would but I don't eat fish. Well that's not entirely true, I'll eat lobster, most anything blackened (as in the cajun style of spice & cooking, not supercharring it on the grill), and deep fried with a crunchy flavorful batter. hmm....... Spicy Kentucky Fried Tuna Roll... I'd try that.

I agree with spook on this, as much as i hate to admit it, Escaflowne could be in worse hands.
As for anime, the Escaflowne tv series, and all of EVA, not just a teaser like giant robot week.

Oh, come on. Don't give up hope! As for your picks, those are all pretty good series and I'm pulling for those too, but there need to be some changes. Evangelion will go to Adult Swim, simpy because I doubt that anyplace else will do it justice (but we'll have to see how GRW comes out). The same goes for Ghost in the Shell. Robotech, honestly, I don't like. Macross (the first part of Robotech, for those of you who don't know) I absolutely adore, but it needs to be set apart from Robotech and re-dubbed to make it better. The same goes for Tekaman Blade (Teknoman for those of you who've only seen the dub), which needs not only to be re-dubbed, but sold to another company (Saban currently owns it) in order to make it better. Saban didn't even bother releasing it on video for crying in the morning! I suppose that lots of other anime could be improved if other companies had the rights (Yu-Gi-Oh! for one).
As for otehr series I would like to see come to CN, I'd have to cast my vote for the Slayers and Saber Marionette series. For Adult Swim, I think that Onegai Teacher and Hellsing would make good additions. Question: since they had Lodoss: Chronicles of Heroic Knight on ther Reactor website, do they have the rights to show it on air?
