Nah, I don't think they'll be showing any of these movies again... not for a long time. Check your local video store. Since its released by Disney in the US, theres a good chance its there.

I caught the Movie and Enjoyed it. I went in expecting the worst but I was surprised by it being an awesome move. If you haven't seen it I would recommend renting or buying it.

Originally, back when i was in high school, I thought all films by Miyazaki were for little kids. But then i saw Princess Mononoke and I was like "OMG WTF? Disney Licensed something like this?" Ever since then I've given all the films a chance and I've yet to be disappointed; even by Kiki's Delivery Serivce.

For a while they were showing all of Miyazaki's movies subbed on AMC but I'm not sure if they are anymore. I would keep an eye out just in case though.

I also saw the movie and I have to say that it was better than I expected, way better. But I have a question, how long would it take to make a movie like the miyazaki movies?

From conception to completeion MOST movies take a period of 3-5 years.

That is, from teh first thought that someone has about it, to it being in a theater, about 3-5 years. And that's live action films. Animated typically take a little longer.

But lets look at it another way. Spirited Away was released in 2001. The very next Miyazaki movie, Howl's Moving Castle, was released in 2004. That's a 3 year gap.

Let's also keep in mind that certain things need to be completed before other things can even be started, and so if you have a studio working on something, if you have someone who's job on one movie is done, rather than paying him to lounge around, he gets to work on the next movie. Which means that, I'm about 90% sure, Howl's Moving Castle was in some sort of phase of actual production before Spirited Away was released.

So, in short, quality takes time. The Miyazaki legacy is the absolutely outstanding overall quality of his body of works, not the quantity.
