Due to the interesting things WhtHawk and I discuss over lunch, I will now be introducing yet another useless debate to this board. Simply, I call it:

Lupin VS. !

... okay, that was ghey, but I digress. The point is something similar to the fashion show thread, except no pictures and there's no removing of Lupin to happen. Feel free to use any arguments you like (sans "Lupin (or the other person) is the greatest. End of story" ... too boring), and I'll change the competitor once in a while.

To start (since it's not original): Lupin III Vs. James Bond (pick your Bond)

Look, if you think I should move it, then say so. I just figured it was kinda mindless and/or worthless or it wouldn't have come up at lunch. I wish people would just say what's on his/her mind.... sheesh

considering this is where the fashion-show thread ended up, I don't see the problem...

Okay, Lemme start a little. In a competition of Lupin III and James Bond (Pierce Brosnan style :: swoon :: ) Lupin would totally kick his ass. Why? Look at it! Lupin is so much smoother physically when it comes to the daring do, and gets away alot easier. Bond always has to shoot someone to get out. However, Bond is pretty catchy with all those toys he has... And there's the whole Bond girl/Fujiko argument.

Does that help? Bring up valid arguable points? (I just thought it would be unique to see how people looked at this stuff.)

Oh, okay. Yeah, we used to do that in the semi-animated babble. Doesn't really interest me.

Mr. T would definitely win, though he might need a little help from his other A-Team buddies in case Lupin's pals decide to poke their noses in the T's business...

Considering the personalaties I don't see a personality difference between Zenigata and Gadget. I'd have to go with Lupin. The gadget's are nice but come on, Gadget couldn't catch a cold if he was looking for it.

Yeah, but Penny and her dog Brain would probably out-smart even Lupin, and after some hilarious hijinx, Gadget would probably stumble upon Lupin and his gang and capture them while actually trying to look for an Ice Cream truck or something... then again, as soon as Gadget caught Lupin and got credit for it, I'd say Zenigata would show up and sabotage things so that Gadget would accidently release him, because Zenigata wants all the glory... And then Gadget would arrest Zenigata, mistaking him for one of Lupin's or Dr. Claw's gang...

But, straight one on one, I'd say Lupin would win only if Gadget was actually seriously trying to catch him... otherwise, if Gadget were like distracted or something, Gadget would win through that sheer dumb-ass luck of his that causes him to be only be useful when he's not trying at all... Like Lupin would try to sneak up on Gadget, and Gadget wouldn't realize it, instead trying to figure out how to get a soda out of a supercomputer that he mistakes for a vending machine, and he accidentally opens up his helicopter blades and chops off Lupin's head...

...or something like that...
