Getting back to the topic, yes TS, ROLW does rock. I recently bought the collectors boxset for only $35. Best buy ever!

Adding to what Nobu said The Action Channel owns the rights to Dual Matrix. I saw it in tv guide last week.

and finnaly I wanted to know what info Fata has on AS Pipeline. Was there a press release about it?

Well, you better email Fata, Zechs. This thread is 2 months old. Except for the last 5 posts.

Angelknight was a good little newbie and found an old thread rather than starting a new one.

Some more points:

The broadcast rights to ROLW are/were owned by Studio USA, who usd the first three eps in their old anime showings back in the mid-90's on the Sci-Fi Network.

Now, the reason that I said were is that if I'm not mistaken (and I could be), Studio USA/Sci-Fi had the rights to Armitage III: Dual Matrix as well. Now, TechTV has those rights. And I wouldn't be surprised that TechTV acquired all of Sci-Fi's anime holdings as fuel for Anime Unleashed.

What does this mean? Well, it means that there's a realistic chance that TechTV has the broadcast rights to ROLW.

1) Armitage III POLY-Matrix is on TechTV. Which means that (everything but)Sci-Fi's contract had expired, and was not bought out by TechTV.
2) Lodoss War doesn't fit TechTV's image, so no, I don't think TechTV would ever contract to show ROLW.

They had Crest of the Stars didn't they???

Yes....yes they did. If you're arguing that it doesn't go with Tech TV's image well I don't see why. It has plenty of technology, it's a space drama for gods sakes.

Record of Lodoss War= Dungeons & Dragons-style fantasy adventure
(Crest/Banner/Battleflag) of the Stars= Interstellar space opera

You're probably getting confused with Venus Wars, which would fit on TechTV. Cool

I think it's a pretty awesome idea for CN to air BIG O 2 in the summer because they'll get better ratings due to..tada! no school! There isn't even summer school in my county(as far as I know) this summer becasue of lack of funds. And my school has been working it's ass off to be an "A" school. oh well i graduated. who cares right? Cool j/k

I remember when people hated Big O. They didn't understand the series. Me neither. It seems the uncut way may explain it alittle more.

Well, Goldfinger, yes and no. I have work this summer. Thus, I might as well have school. (BLUG.)

And ToonamiL, I never liked the series either. The little bit I saw was confusing and too slow paced for my tastes.

Lol when did this topic move to discussing Big O season 1 and 2? In any case, I always thought that Big O was a sweet show. Somewhat different and refreshing from the other shows on Toonami (sorry, but I can only take so... much.... DBZ....)

*begin rant* Why can't they just move on from DBZ!!!! rerunning it for the billionth time is just OVER THE TOP! I'm sorry, but after the first 2 fights, it got ollllddd. *end rant*

Anyway, back to ROLW. I actually enjoyed that show, but yes, I have to agree it doesn't quite fit in Anime Unleashed.
