Iv seen the series though a few times, and Im still drawing a blank on what happens in some of the episodes. We know it has more holes in it than a peace of paper after being hit with a shotgun.
Like last nights "Bring back my Cat" Was the cat those peoples baby that the guy transformed into a cat, or did they just consider it as their son? I know that the guy did alter the cat in some how or some way.
Does Angel work for Paradime or someone else?

Ugene took their son, and turned him into a cat. Thats why when talking to Roger Smith the woman said "Let me put it this way. If it was a child, would you be so reluctant to give him back?"
Then Ugene, being insane, took the cat and added it to that wacked-out-giany-creature-dealy.
Also, as it stands now, Angel works for Paradime.
When Big O aired the first time, it just didn't draw me in. Now I'm watchin every episode. Yet I hope a few things are resolved in Season 2. As in how Roger Smith GOT the Big O, what exactly is a 'mega-duece', how everyony lost their memories, and why Angel is trying to 'save' the memories constantly (as if memories are tangible things). Unless of course these things are resolved in the next 5 episodes, seeing as how this is the first time I'm wathing the series.
Also, why does the Big O say "Cast in the name of God . . . Ye Not Guilty"? And why do the episodes end the way they do. Usually it says "We have come to terms" which, ok, that means it's over. But 2 of them have ended with, I think, "No sign" or something like that. And I am confused. _________________ anime is teh s uck

The ending "We have come to terms" "No Side" and such are pretty much a case of whether Roger Smith won that episode or not.
"Cast in the name of God, Ye not guilty"
I forget how CN had reworded that during its first showing. Because God is a nasty word and we dont want people to see it during prime time. I believe it was "Cast not in the name of evil, Ye not guilty".

There are three O's. Big O (mega deuce ground attack version) Big Duo (air attack) and during Big O II, I think we will finally see Big Trio. Which you see at the end of episode 12. During the final attack in episode 12 there are three megas in the water. From the shapes of their heads its clearly an O, a Duo and a third.
Later in the series Roger, now intent on saving memories, asks the butler
"How do you know how to fix Big O? Do you think you might have learned during the war?"
One of the scenes during the series shows a sky full of Duo's flying over an undomed town. So obviously there armies of these things. I used to think I knew why they called the Megas gods. But now I am doubting myself.
Concerning angel. In the underwater episode when she takes her shirt off you see the marks for where her wings would have been. As if shes an angel, and leading up to the whole "Why does Big O say 'Cast not ..."
So many questions. Im glad to see it on again but 12 episodes doesnt do the story justice. And I hope Big O II doesnt change its animation to much. And answers some of the many questions I have. Even during one of those AS breaks it said
"Remember Big O? Its a good show. It gets a little confusing towards the end though. We will have a tip line to help you out"
BTW I saw the original opening on TDA last year. But to see it on the big screen you have to go "WTF?!". Heres what im guessing its a take off of a James Bond beginning. Watch it with thinking that and it will make sense. Showing off all the toys and such.

no really i forgot...
umm, yeah when big O first showed up i watched maybe the first 3 eps. then i i missed a bunch of them. the caught a copuple towards the end. Ilove it though. It's style is quite pimp. i hope they beefed up the animation for season 2 though. I'll be watching big O daily.
I believe on Toonami it was "Cast in the name of good" so as not to have to do too much editing.

This is my theroy on what happen 40 yrs ago:
The Meg-Duces and other Giant Robots where the main weapons in the apouclips, the war to end all wars, etc. If you notice that the sun never rises, so nuclar weapons where used and they scorched the sky.
I think because the war was so horible that some desided to wipe out everyones memories of it, so it couldnt happen again OR
The only way to stop the war was to make everyone forget why they where fighting it in the first place.
NOw how Roger could pilot the big O is a good question. Seeing that the war would have been 40 yrs ago, and he cant be 40.
His Buttler(I cant remeber his name) was probably a Mega Duce mechanic/ soldier.
NOw, remember those kids they showed in the 12 eps, the ones with the bar codes on their forheads. NOw what exaclty where they, and was Roger one of them?

I'm betting the scientist who died in the first episode (AKA Dorathy's father) made a second one. Dorathy 2.0. maybe we'll see Dorathy 3 in the next season. Ack, that's alot of quotes in quotes.
Question: Are they going to use the same cast for the voices? I sure hope so.
