Post subject: Should Toonami & tom gets there own channel?
Should Toonami have it is on channel, and would this be a good idea for ted tunner or who ever owns cartoon network now, Look pleae don't take this the wrong way.
But i have been notice a change over the years, that poor tom is getting less and less air time, am i wrong here, M-F 4to 6pm and then 4 to 7pm and then 12 to 1am each week night, and now 4 hours on saturday, why is tom 1 tom 2 and tom 3 geting shafted by cartoon network,?
Sure it started as a show from the uk, so did doctor who
But tom should not be cut off because if toonami was then cartoon network would lose nearly half of it rating,
So I ask you this Should Tom get his own channel? Why or why not?
and is this a good pos?

Toonami would make a good channel. Unfortunately, the management at Time-Warner is so boneheaded that if it was done now, it'd fail like the UK version. The management is plagued with a couple of idiotic mentalities that need to be abandoned before such a network could be created:
1) Live-action. Do I really need to explain this one? It's conquering CN at frightening rates. It doesn't belong on any of their networks. Period. Now, if it was a live-action/animation hybrid, it could work, but the network's definition of "animation" seems to include "pretty special effects," which is why bullcrap like Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves aired on the network. CN needs a new dictionary.
2) All new, all the time. CN gave up on classic programming forever ago, and Boomerang is slowly slipping away. Now programming from 2003 is considered "old," and nothing from that year airs on CN now. They need to reinsert classic cartoons into their lineup; then they could be more diverse instead of airing the same 6 shows over and over. And occasional runs of Tom & Jerry and Scooby-Doo don't count, either. Yeah, they're old, but what about the rest of the libraries they hold the rights to? MGM's cartoons? Other H-B shows? Batman? Superman (both Fleischer and WB)? Pink Panther? Popeye? Looney Tunes? Oh, wait. Even THAT doesn't air on Boomerang anymore. Thanks, T-W! _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015
