Post subject: Well, that was quick

| You know how mostly a movie would take 2-3 years to premiere as a network premiere. I'll get to the point. Don't you think it's awkward that Cartoon Network is pushing the Powerpuff Girls Movie fast? I meant, its video release isn't over a year! Shocking... |

Well it didn't to hot in the theaters and never heard the numbers for home sales... it may be the fact that CN is a cable company and now a movie company and so they get first dips on their own stuff. Fox and WB not so much because their is alot more competition in those low numbered channels and their movie and television depts are almsot seperate companies all together and are mostly intrested in pure financial gain. I hope I got my point acrossed, I don't want to have to try to reiterate it.
Speaking of movies, isn't Shrek suposed to come to CN soon?

When is CN not pushing the PPG movie?
I still remember when the PPG movie was in theaters and CN had commercials for it at least twice during every commercial break.
Did ramming it into our heads every few minutes make more people see it? All it did was piss me off. And I still didn't see it.
So as far as airing the movie so soon after it's home video release: the PPG movie is CN's pride and joy. They'll do whatever they can to promote it and make sure you will never get it out of your head.

Exactly. My Friend rented The Powerpuff Girls movie and I watched it with him. It was extra powered crap.(don't mean to offend anyone)It felt like a extended episode. Should have been just a T.V movie.
