Well?

I really like the ending to Cowboy Bebop, yeah he died, but there really couldn't have been any other way to go.

I really like the ending to Gundam Wing at the time. (8th grade.) And the end of Outlaw Star was quite nice.

I agree with Dill on Bebop ending, my friend complains but I tell him to shut up.. .Hack//Sign had a great ending(Not a CB ending but much better than most endings). Vandread 2nd Stage(Usally in a Gonzo anime you get screwed over with the ending but this time was different) and Onegai Teacher had good endings as well.

I really enjoyed Lain's ending. Sure the whole series was a major mind trip, but I think that was the best possible outcome for Lain and everyone else.

Sometimes an ending like Big O's is good because it leaves you wanting for more. Im still deciding what I thought of Triguns ending. But I will wait to discuss that until its first run ends on CN. Bebops ending was good. But man what a bummer. I have seen more animes where the hero dies at the end lately. So much for a sequal. Well except for Jett as a detective Smile .StarBlazers had a good ending to. Gundam Wings ending was pretty good and seemed like it actually led up to that point. Best one in my mind is still the death of the SDF1/3 from Macross/Robotech (man lot of slashes). Though now that I know the ending from Macross I havent quite fiqured out why Carl Macek would kill off the bridge bunnies. Doesnt seem quite right when he was watering it down for american pallets. Having Khryon slam his warship into the SDF1/3 seemed like it was how things should have ended.

And really do you remember love?

...

Cowboy Bebop. My jaw was dropped for at least half the ending credits.

Fodder: The ending to Big O is not an ending, per se, more like a 'season finale' if you can call it that, since Season 2 is in development as I type this.

Yep, Gundam Wing has to be the best ending I remember.

Either that or 08th MS team.

I didn't really like the last ep of 08th MS team. The one before it was great

Gundam Wing, as a distant second to...

Mobile Suit Gundam. I'm counting ALL the subsagas here, 08th team and 0080 thrown in for good measure. 0080's final episode was perfect, actually. But Char's Counterattack is what I'm focusing on, and I've got to say it was...actually satisfying. They tied in a lot of the elements of "growing up" displayed throughout the series and 0080, as well as some mecha action innovation from those who know it best. Oh yeah, Char was not only a main character and in full character, but his name is in the title.

Heard there's a sequel called "Hathaway's Flash" in novel form.

Exactly. I like those endings. Akira's was good but rushed and Perfect Blue's was Great.[/quote]

I've said it before: Irresponsible Captain Tylor and El-Hazard (the original OVA) are the most perfect endings I've seen...
