Post subject: Tonight On Toonami
|
|
|
|
Just a FYI for anybody watching tonights premire of Toonami's new lineup, at 11:00 EST, Cartoon Network will premire Animatrix. Animatrix is the anime version of the Matrix. I have seen it before and it is cool. So it'll be on tonight if you feel like watching it. |

Oh, we know, we also know that The Animatrix is actually being aired as part of Adult Swim and not Toonami. |

*hugs his DVD copy of The Animatrix*
I wonder what they will edit out, what they will try to sneak by, and what will be blatantly edited? _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

i own the dvd, but i think i actually preferred the adult swim airing over the unedited version, since some of the events in "the second renaissance" were really graphic and grossed me out severely the first time around...
i didn't see any instances of over-editing, and while i did get a laugh at the lightspeed credits at the end of each one, i think williams street handled it well in the overall... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

I realize that, I was just saying that we already knew, I wasn't saying the thread was a waste of space or a bad idea or anything like that. |

There was that part in the Second Rennisance when that Robot butler tears into that hotel guest's skull and rips it in half. And in Part Two when that pilot is getting torn out of that robotic suit, leaving his arms and lags _________________ One Last Time, To Blow Your Mind.....

Yeah, I for once am actually pleased with the editing. It got rid of the really graphic stuff. That head rip thing was just nasty. I thought the gore was just a little excessive in the unedited version, so this was good. _________________ LOVE & PEACE! |
