I don't care if it's one week a year, as long as they do it right and don't pass off some joke of a TIE that was the last one.

Oh, and I just saw a commercial. The Groovedians is going to be on Cartoon Cartoon Friday this Friday. Somebody kill it. I don't care if the killing spurts groove goo all over the walls, just smash it REEEEEEALLY good. Then burn the goo. Then freeze the ashes. Then boil it in acid. Then take the creaters, and force them to eat whatever's left. Then make them stay in a 10 by 10 room for the rest of their lives, never being alloowed to leave.

Disgrace to CGI everywhere . . .

Has anyone been able to read the online comic Tom mentioned? I'm on the site now and I don't see it at all.

I have seen TOM3! First word that comes to mind: FUNKY!

The new Absolution looks smaller than the last one. Oh well, I guess TOM doesn't need a huge ship anyway.

tom3 looks good, very good. He's got only one major flaw. His hands. They look like kinked pvc pipe with the kinks in not quite the right places. From the "previews" I really like the change, I just would really like a good "story" explanation to air... hell I'd settle for one at all.

TOM3 looks idiotic...He's too big, robots shouldn't have a huge chest, (Rambles on) I think they should just stay the same. Or bring moltar back. If they brought moltar back, I would praise toonami.

I'd like to see Moltar again as well, but the problem there is that the kids who watched the block after Tom took over wouldn't know who Moltar was without an explanation.

And chances are that the Higher ups at CN don't really care about Moltar doing a cameo...

Eh...who knows? Cartoon Network is pretty good about their fans (for the most part). But what you said about the kids that watched the block after TOM took over would probably stop them from doing it.

Tom's becoming more humanistic, that's all. The big chest just comes with it. He's a more battle ready tom and it shows. It's fairly obvious that they have some plans that will require the added "muscle" in the future. Your just used to old tom, change is good. It was so incredicly time for a change, Tom2 has been around for the worst times for Toonami and this is their way of saying those times are over (at least that's the way I see it)

I agree with Spook. Especially on the hands. The hands look crappy. Other than that, it looks cool. I hope agaisnt the odds that they have an on-air story to explain the change.

I can even name exactly what it is about the hands that they need to change.

First, they need to thin his fingers just a bit, fingers have a small bit of space between themslves when stretched out. Just scaling Tom's new digits in a little will help give that appearance much better.

Second, there are two things they can do. They can either reposition the bones in the fingers so the joints are in their proper positions (and not have stubby finger tips) or completely remodel the hands to have a segmented robotic look (much like the previous toms had, only more humanistic).

I am not liking the new font. Maybe it will grow on me, but for now it's just nasty.

the font is a style choice and it's another way of them telling you it's a whole new toonami. it's so incredibly not what we're used to for the block, that's all. It's actually a very pretty, well designed type face and on its own estheticly pleasing. It just doesn't fit in with YOUR idea of toonami.

That's because my idea of Toonami is a futuristic one, not a ye olde one.
