Post subject: New Zoids series

| Oh yeah! I guess even though Zoids is not so famous here in the US, it is popular in Japan since they are releasing another series. I can't wait to see them. If anyone has a link where I could see some screenshots or a preview video, please tell me. |

Please tell me it fills in the gap from the end of Chaotic Century and Zero and explains how Zeke's head ended up fused with the Liger's Zoid Core.

| Of cource I would love it to be like that, but it will probably be taking place in the further future. I would be happy if they at least make it better then the fusors, because face it, even though I love zoids, I say that this show sucked. If they don't, then down the drain it goes... |

Fuzors was dumb. Although that Pheonix thing that joined with the Liger was cool(by itself). It was just too convenient that Liger could fuse. Pretty good for a formerly dead zoid ressurected to life and the metamorphed twice.  |

Zoids is just a cheap attempt to sell you the same damned toy over and over. The least they could do is make some of them transform, like every other half hour toy commercial on either side of the Pacific.

| I think that also, Why would you want it to transform? Frist of all, you are probably thinking about transformers, and I think that that show is even worse then zoids. And even if you like it, why would you want a clone of it by making zoids transform. Lets say gundam for example, do u want those mechs to transform as well??? If you don't like Zoids, you can keep it to yourself. I don't come to a post about anime that you like and say that it sucks @ss. |

Point the First: Gundams HAVE transformed. Have you seen the first series? Even back then there were different modes and such, and the main components had to shift in order to change modes. Transforming HAS been in Gundam, and a bunch of other shows. Not just Transformers.
Point the Second: I liked the first Zoids series that aired on Toonami. But there's no way in HELL that it is better, either in quality OR in plot, than Transformers. I'm not talking about the shitty Transformers: Energon or the like. I'm talking about Beast Wars and G1. So shut your pie hole and do NOT say Transformers sucks unless you qualify that statement with the appropriate version.
Point the Third: Did you sensor yourself from saying the word ass?

General quality is not a matter of opinion. It can be observed how much effort, care, and creativity have been put into a work. An objective observation can be made regarding these three aspects of any work, independant of whether or not you liked it.
To say, outright, as a blanket statement, that Transformers sucked, is to say that you have no respect for anything that makes a cartoon good. Unless, of course, you limit your statement only to the past few recent incarnations of Transformers, such as Energon, Armada, and Robots in Disguise. However, to include the entire timeline in such a statment is to be pompous and ignorant.
Also, if you can't take a minor insult on a message board, get off the net. Really, I may be pissy, but I could be a total tool to you. If you can't take my pissyness, then dear lord you won't be able to take anything on the net.

Worse then transformers?! Worse then transformers?! What are you 13?! ACK don't you know a series that changed animation?
Its 2005 and according to Transformers the Movie i should be seeing Autobots around but I dont. Hell the movie has Orson Wells AND!! Leonard Nimoy in it.
Bet your a fan of Dragonball Z to and think its the best looking anime out there (im a fan of it but im also a realist about it).
Don't beat down Transformers kid. You have no idea how it affected us when it was new. The same could be said about Robotech in the mid 80's as well.
You have to think of what was on TV when GI Joe and Transformers showed up. Hannah Barbara cartoons, Turbo Teen, Mr T and Team. Im not kidding these were the normal saturday shows and then shows like GI Joe with real plot lines and Transformers with above average animation and a great movie (lets not talk about Don Johnson GI Joe the movie it doesnt count).
Transformers Armada sucked
Transformers Energon sucked
The Batman sucks
Transformers the movie rocked
Transformers the orignal series and the beast wars series were good CGI
Its all relative and you'll learn that. Just because Super Mario Brothers looks like crap today doesnt mean its bad. In its day it was great

Beast Wars was ABOVE good. It was the best computer animation to appear on TV for a LONG time. To this day, I have not seen a better computer generated motion for running. Sound like s imple thing? It ain't. To make a believable motion is difficult, and to sync that motion with the ground and/or scenary is damn near impossible it seems, for all except Pixar and Dreamworks. Beast Wars had the best computer animation I have seen on my Television. To say that it is worse than the cel shading in Zoids it to be ignornat of quality.

| Once again, I am not saying that Transformers suck, I said that according to TO MY OPPINION, it is worse. I can always have an oppinion for myself. Just because YOU like it, it doesn't matter that everyone else has to. I am not saying that it is bad anime, neither am I saying that Zoids is good anime. I am just saying that I LIKE IT better. |
