Post subject: Full Metal Panic

| I heard Full Metal Panic is a pretty good anime (plus its a mech anime, which I love). I am just wondering if it is possible for it to be shown on toonami, or even better on weekdays instead of Teen Titans or DBGT at 10. |

| possible, but not likely. Just because one person wants a show, doesn't mean toonami will go out of their way to get the show. Remember people, it's all about the money. |

ADV owns the series, so the chance of it hitting CN is slim to none.

If you're going to keep dragging out that tired old line, at least clarify that it's not because CN refuses to deal with ADV or vice versa, it's because ADV doesn't license a lot of titles that can easily fit into CN's lineup without major modifications, including Full Metal Panic.

Oh, I knew what you meant, I just don't see them as real competition yet.
Maybe once their linear channel break out past the 3 local systems it reaches now, and finally inks a satellite deal, they'll be worthy rivals.
OnDemand doesn't count.

Although FMP could probably go on AS completely un-editted. There's already a dub, isn't there? All I've seen are the old fansubs.

But the question is, would this giant robot show be "adult" enough for the audience that [as] is trying to attract, and therefore worth the pick-up?

Seems about as Adult as GITS:SAC, though not nearly as deep or intellectual. I'd think the humor would make up for that though.
