Anyone that reads Penny Arcade might have already seen this, but I figured I'd make sure everyone has. SciFi Channel has produced a pilot episode of The Amazing Screw-On Head. It's kind of like The Tick, only in 1860, with a mix of Frasier, American Dad, and some undead stuff. With none of the bad parts of any of the aformentioned. The only negative I saw was the coloring, which slightly bothered me, but I quickly forgave it when I saw Abraham Lincoln talking on a "video screen" (just watch, SO clever!). This show oozes originality, if nothing else. It's rare that I see one thing I've never seen before, but it's even RARER that I see a few new things in one entity. This pilot's got that, so check it out. It's free, so the worst thing that can happen is you waste 10 minutes of your time:

I keep having to remember its only a pilot. And watch it like that. But it was defiantly unique. The video screen was a nice touch. And the fact that Mr Head had a previous love affair and was the cause of his lover becoming a vampire. Well that was a nice touch.
The voice acting was well down. Although David Hyde Pierce was doing his own voice.
I'll be curious to see where this series goes. I haven't read the comic book its based on. So I don't know the story lines _________________ Certified Narutard
