Time for some new content on this forum. Okay, so we all remember having this debate at one time or another. The argument back then was that the dubs were so bad that it detracted from the original series. And while I've still seen some bad dubs present day (i'm looking at you Gundam 00), I think that the argument has become a moot point. Back then, anime wasn't very easy to get a hold of and often times we couldn't get it in its original language. But now days, I'd say that anime has become so easy to find, through both legal and questionable means, that it shouldn't matter if it's one way or another.

What say you guys? Should we care anymore?

The only thing we should care about is that most stuff these days doesn't sell well enough to justify the cost of an English dub, unless you're FUNimation with a wellspring of DBZ money.

Thats true. Can't say i've purchased as much as I should have but I still try when I have a steady paycheck. I was sad to hear that Bandai Visual was closing its US office. Aside from ADV, the vast majority of my collection is Bandai, including my beloved Gunbuster. I'd love to get a subscription to the streaming sites, but my ISP just implemented a bandwidth cap system, so its almost not worth it.
