It's basically the story of a 14-year-old yusuke(pronounced use-kay) who dies while trying to save some little kid. The after-life wasn't ready for his soul because they never thought he would actually risk his life for someone. The funny thing is that if he hadn't pushed the kid out of the way of the car. the kid wouldn't of been bruised like he was and yusuke would have lived. Boton, though she doesn't look the part, is the Grim Reaper and has come to tell yusuke that because of the mix up he has been given a chance to be brought back to life. If he can pass a test to show he deserves it. After passing the test he is given the job as Spirit Detective and fights to protect the world from demons.
It's a lot like DBZ with the progressively tougher enemies and huge Ki blasts, but seems to have alot more brains behind the fighting. _________________ Bang.

I don't know about the brains part. Yusuke pretty much relies on dumb luck and brute strength. Hiei and that guy with the rose whip (who's name I always forget) on the other hand are brilliant fighters. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Oh I see, so when I see it there is not going to be a complex storyline in the series, so to say, but it sounds good ... well thanks for explaining it to me zechs!

I feel for you - I had my tape ready, everything programmed, and I forgot to turn my VCR off for the timer to take effect! luckily, I was going to bed right as the shows were starting and I just happened to look at my VCR, and got to record to InuYasha, which is suddenly becoming one of my favorite series
as for why we don't stay up...I don't stay up cause I have an 8:00 class, and I have to wake up very early, and I don't wanna be grumpy all day

Actually, I'm 99.9% sure that inuyasha will soon finish in japan at episode 103-ish with either 2 or 3 movies(i think they're pulling an EVA). It's been past the 80's eps for quite some time now.

They're ENDING Inu Yasha? Ugh!
But yeah, I go to bed at 11:00 now and can barely get myself up for 7. I should even wake up earlier. I'm one of those people who needs more than 8 hours of sleep per night in order to function.
Can someone tell me about Monday's episode? I'd really appreciate a brief synopsis.

Monday's episode:
Kagome found Keiko in a tree with the souls and snake things. They talked about Naraku. Keiko paralized Kagome and used the snake things to bind her to the tree. Inu Yasha comes and starts talking to Keiko about how he feels. Inu Yasha can't see or hear Kagome, but she can see and hear everything that's going on. Keiko kisses Inu Yasha and then tries take Inu Yasha to hell with her. Kagome yells a lot and Inu Yasha finally hears her and doesn't go. Keiko flies up and dissappears. Kagome and Inu Yasha start to leave the forest. Kagome wants to be alone. Inu Yasha tries to talk to her. Kagome says sit. Inu Yasha leaves big hole. Fox kid and monk guy come. Kagome jumps in well. Fox kid and monk guy ask Inu Yasha if he wants to be with Keiko or Kagome.
Inu Yasha: I don't suppose I could have both of them?
monk guy: That's the problem with men like us, having both without the other finding out. If one of them found out--
Kagome(offscreen): SIT!
monk guy: That's right, big sit.
