Cowboy Bebop

Cowboy Bebop is one of the best anime series available in America today. It is currently being shown on Adult Swim. Heres my review of the series, or if you want to be specific, Volumes 1-6.

The Video:
Bebop was animated by, Studio Bones, who are also known for RaXpheon and Wolfs Rain. It is full of lush colors and vibrant backgrounds. It even looks good on the crappiest of TVs. There are no color defects or ripples in the animation.

The Sound:
Bebop is, well, sound filled. There are lots of gunshots and other sounds in it. They each were taken care of perfectly with some even being recorded outside of the series. The English dub was executed perfectly, with hundreds of veteran voice actors providing voices for main characters, and minor characters.

The Packaging:
The covers for the DVDs were taken from some promotional art and some wall scrolls that are available from fine retailers like Anime Nation.

The Review:
All right, Im going to try to keep this low on spoilers, okay?
Warning: Minor spoilers

Okay, The main characters are: Spike, an ex-mobster, Jet, an ex-cop, Faye, a woman with a mysterious past and Ed, an insane hacker girl. They are all Bounty hunters. The main plot of the story is about how Spike is trying to find his girlfriend, Julia. His archrival, Vicious is trying to take over the syndicate he used to work for and to kill him at the same time. There are other side plots, like how Jet lost his arm, Fayes past, and where Ed came from. Here is the full text from the opening of the show, from Fatas website, The Jazz Messengers: Once upon a time, in New York City in 1941... at this club open to all comers to play, night after night, at a club named "Minston's Play House" in Harlem, they play jazz sessions competing with each other. Young jazz men with a new sense are gathering. At last they created a new genre itself. They are sick and tired of the conventional fixed style jazz. They're eager to play jazz more freely as they wish then... in 2071 in the universe... The bounty hunters, who are gathering in the spaceship "BEBOP", will play freely without fear of risky things. They must create new dreams and films by breaking traditional styles. The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called... COWBOY BEBOP

I gave this series a 5 out of 5.

SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY

My Score:

This simplicity is also cheap replica watches found in the use of the winding crowns since that at 2 o'clock (stamped LV) Panerai replica is used to set the time and back size dedicated to him then that that at 4 o'clock Fake omega watches (engraved Twin Chrono Winding) dates back three templates for the different runs. "It is also one of the main characteristics of the Twin Chrono Grand Sport: combining a mechanical heart of extreme.
