Neon Genesis Evangelion

The first episodes tell you about the main character Shinji Ikari who becomes an EVA pilot for his dad's organization NERV(which you won't know why it was created till later)

The story takes place in 2015, 15 years after the Second Impact which caused the death of 1/3 of the Earth's Population, but you know us humans we strive for survival and we manage to live on in hi-tech cities. Apparently the demons or machines or whatever they are (by the way they are called Angels) decide to attack 15 years after they caused the Second Impact.

Ok the story is a lot better than my summary. The series is touching and deep while hardcore and full of action(something I once thought was impossible for an anime was achieved and it was even greater than my dream.) Only one word can describe these series...two actually....Totally awesome!!!

Yup. This is a soul-shattering, awesome show. I really want to see it on TV, but the dub is not very good (you can't be Megumi Ogata) and it'll have to be edited (XD). But still, you can wacth it and go, "Ya know what really happens?" or "It was dirtier in my day." I don't know really. I just love the show and the manga.

one of the best animes out thear you should try to put it on adult swim at least but it has good story line good personalitys for the charictors but thats just my opinin so just try to put this one on air id give it a 89 out of 100 on my scale.

"how many eps do we have. and how many are they" the entire series has been released (26 episodes and two movies), as well as a director's cut of volume 7 (i think...correct me if i'm wrong somebody) with new scenes previously removed from the first version... i think the reviewer's comment about "no ending" refers to how the series ended, which is something you'll just have to see for yourself...
