It HAD been a while since I saw the episode, but I forgot how badass Yuji was in it. (Sorry I tape Adult Swim and have yet to watch it) Seeing Yuji jump on a mech, hijack it, and then kick those soldier asses was a bit like a Bar Mitzvah, no?
And the sheets were always there. The only open complete nudity in the series is in the uncut ending. (Which, for all you curious ones out there, is like a 3 minute tribute to Marlene's body.)
Yeah, and I guess Dice sorta kinda notices Marlene thinking about Yuji. So the setup is that "Oh shit marlene's here and here's this chick...at least Trojan Man is on my side!".

louzy cable required monthly testing...marlene and dice were effectively surrounded by that sandworm-looking blue, basically looking like they were about to die when a shot comes from offscreen to what i'm assuming was yuji in his recently acquired armor shrike...it was right here that i got the testing screen, and when it was lifted, marlene had just shot the core and yuji was mysteriously out of his armor shrike...

Yuji shot it, then the Blue started going after him. Yuji ran away, backwards, shooting at the Blue the whole time. He jumped out of the Shrike just as the shrike went backwards into a wall of rock and the Blue followed, thus hitting the wall of rock. Yuji, being an idiot, gave a sigh indicating the thought "I killed it". Then Marlene shot the core as the blue was about to eat Yuji. _________________ anime is teh s uck

With the way this show goes, i thought that yugi's new girlfriend(and the rest of the tribe for that matter) would have been killed by the blue, and he would have no choice but to rejoin marlene and dice.
Also, i was sad that dice didn't join them. I was really liking him and his one comment especially(about marlene getting a bigger gun). I guess if he went back he'd have been thrown in jail for being a deserter.

This is a minor spoiler, but one of BG's biggest flaws is that we never see Dice again. Also, I have no idea how the gypsies lived. Well, since you helped me out when i missed an episode, ill return the favor.
Marlene and Yuji reach 2nd Earth and he is taken off by the doctors. Marlene then goes before the council for a review. She is repremanded for having the specimen(Yuji) participate in battle and being injured. They also accuse her of taking over the squad to advance her career. The council members talk in front of her about starting some plan even with this injured specimen. The coucil then rules Marlene needs to go back through training.
When she leaves she looks for Yuji and eventually finds an observation window and sees the doctors working on him.
Marlene then is in the training room and she starts an armor shrike simulation, but is marked down for not disregarding the humans(one of which looked like the little girl Yuji promised to take care of).
Next she is in a squad combat simulation in a building infested with blue. One of her squadmates is injured and she stops to save him and carry him along. The instructors see that she might be able to pull of the excercise and want to send a message to her. They overwhelm her with bule and she passes out(the suits they wear inflict realistic pain).
She wakes up back at the medical facility and uses the opportunity to go back and check up on Yuji. When she gets there though, he is gone.

the military people are a bunch of assholes. Had they been in a similar sitation, they would have had to have done the same, as marlene and Yuji. Bunch of jerks
