Ending themes!

You're Under Arrest!- "Thank You, Love"
Saikano- "sayonara" ...if Viz would only translate the lyrics... Mad
El-Hazard: The Alternative World- "The Day God Gave Us"
Tenchi Muyo!- "The Moon Tragedy"
Abenobashi- "Anata no Kokoro ni"
Mahoromatic- "Mahoro de Mambo"
Dragon Half- "Watashi no Tamagoyaki"...(Yummy! Beethoven and eggs!)

Songs that kick dust into my eyes:
Love Hina-"Winter Wish"
Irresponsible Captain Tylor- "Passing Days" (Yuri Amano *sigh*...<3 )... and "I'll Always Be Looking at You" (mainly because it's the last song in the series).

A slight correction, and then a couple additions.

Quote:
Ah My Goddess - Opening

It's "My Heart ... iidesenai, Your Heart ... tashimaketai", or " 'My Heart' can't say it, 'Your Heart' I want to know", sung by the Goddes Family Club (Inoue Kikuko, Tooma Yumi, Hisakawa Aya)

(and a "yay" to Nobu for nominating "Sayonara." That one haunted me for a semster.)

Now for the additions.
Kanon - "Fluorescence", opening theme sung by Fujiwara Miho
Full Metal Panic - "Karenai Hana", closing theme sung by Shimokawa Mikuni
Ah! My Goddess: the Movie - "Try to Wish", closing theme sung by Nishihata Saori
Ah! My Goddess - "Congratulations!", closing theme sung by Goddes Family Club
DiGi Charat - "Party Night", closing theme (don't know who sings it)
Adventures of Mini Goddess - "Kiss Kiss Kiss", closing #2
Here is Greenwood - "No-Brand Heroes", closing theme (also don't know the vocalist) (shame on Bono for not mentioning it!)

Not an opening or ending theme, but fun nonetheless:
Ah! My Goddess: the Movie - "Spring Unchanged", incidental music, no vocals
Ah! My Goddess: the Movie - "Coro di Dea", song of restoration, Goddess Family Club
Vision of Escaflowne - "Dance of Curse", Best ... Battle song ... EVER!

It's kinda disturbing how many of these songs I can sing w/o a lyrics sheet, while still not knowing any Japanese.

*wanders off singing "Karenai Hana"*

Some more good ones, hopefully they haven't been mentioned before, did a quick check first:

Astro Boy (the new one) - true blue - OP by Zone (this one reminds me of Tokyo, sitting in a small noodle place on the eastern end of shinjuku in the basement of a 20 story building with my friends on the first night in Tokyo with the rain coming down outside... it was on the radio there... ehhh.. sorry... song always back great memories)
City Hunter 2 - Angel Nights - ? OP (maybe ED? not sure) by Psy*S
Fullmetal Alchemist - Melissa - 1st OP by Porno Grafiti
Fullmetal Alchemist - Tobira no Mukou He (unsure of translation, can't find it anywhere, and it's beyond the scope of 2nd year Japanese- someone with experience know? ) - 2nd ED by YeLLOW Generation
Gundam X - Dreams - 1st OP by Romantic Mode
Initial D 4th Stage - Dogfight - OP by move (not available yet, will be later this month)
Initial D 4th Stage - Blast My Desire - ED by move
Victory Gundam - Don't Stop! Carry On! 2nd OP by RD
Victory Gundam - Mouichido Tenderness (translates to "Once Again Tenderness") - 2nd ED by KIX S

Of course, the best OP/EDs ever are Gundam SEED's 3rd and 4th OPs, but those have been mentioned already.

I've always preferred the first one ("Denwa Shite Iwa-chan"), although that opinion may be clouded by the animation sequence involved (sneaking around, avoiding Belldandy and making her sad is BAD!...until the end Wink )

That is indeed a great sequence. Yay for cake!

But I personally think that "XXX" is significantly catchier, although the lyrics aren't as nice.

Oh, what the hell. I'll just put both of them on the list!
