Hmmm.. I wonder.. since goku and vegeta survived being in buus body , do you think they will run into goten and trunks and gohan and piccolo (piccolo prbably got eaten by the intestine) in thursdays episode?

1) Do we get to see Trunks's sister in DBZ, or is she in GT?
2) Where does Trunks get his sword from?

1) Yes, Bra (what is it with their family and naming after naughty-garments?) appears at the very end of Z, but gets most of her screen time in GT.
2) Here's another example of continuity error, but only if you include stuff Toriyama didn't write. Trunks got his sword from a dude named Taipon in DBZ Movie #13. However this is in the second reality of DBZ (the one where Goku lives) so how could this be the case with Mirai Trunks' sword? 1) Many characters have name relations in DBZ. Kakarrot = Carrot. Nappa = a type of cabbage. The Saya-jins are from a planet that used to be called Plant and is now Vegita, as in vegetable. Bulma's family just happens to be named after something Master Roshi is obsessed with.
2) Piccolo gave Gohan a nice sword, there was nothing special about it. Why can't Trunk's sword be from Gohan, and have that be the only thing special about it? _________________ anime is teh s uck

1) Gohan's sword looked completely different.
2) I don't think Gohan even has that sword anymore.
3) The sword from Taipon is identical to the one Mirai Trunks and Trunks from DBGT used.
Of course, all this is subject to argument. Otherwise, why would this thread exist? I don't profess to know everything about DB/Z/GT, but I've been around long enough to know a few things relativly for certain. _________________ Rycel's Death Count on this board: 7

I knew I would get mis-interpreted . . .
What I MEANT was that Piccolo trained Gohan, and gave him a kickass sword. Gohan trained Trunks, wouldn't it be the training style that he knows to give him a kickass sword of his own?
And the movies don't count. When talking about stuff like this, don't count the movies. They may be fun to watch, but even if they CAN fit into the DBZ Universe timeline (as only 3 of the 13 do), they have no bearing on the timeline. _________________ anime is teh s uck
