I thought the first Tenchi movie was good, but what do I know?

Do you have a Region 1 DVD player and/or one of those NTSC to PAL converters?

If you have a PAL TV, then I believe you'll still need an NTSC to PAL converter, or an NTSC TV, which since you can't buy stuff readily from overseas, you probably won't be able to get.

If it wasn't for this post, I would have agreed with you, Zechs. Crying or Very sad

It's just a mild reminder to keep our terms straight to lessen confusion. I really mean no harm. Cool

yeah it means movies based on manga. but a lot of ppl in the uk get the wrong idea about that. bassically coz on the front of all dvd's and videos it has 'manga' printed. in reality its refering to the manga corperation, but people just called the anime movies 'manga's'. and i play the dvd's on my moniter so i dont need an ntsc converter Smile i dont have a set top dvd player, just use the one in my pc

You should check out the Hayao Miyazakhi movies like Princess Mononoke, Castle of Cagliostro and Spirited Away (not on DVD yet, but may be played in theaters). Also Metropolis, Jin-Roh and Ninja Scroll are also good.

Spirited away blew my socks off. Plot was just odd . . . but the animation was stunning.

And Nobu, I did not know you could link to an individual post. Learn something new every day, I guess.
