Large cities are the most explosive substances known to human science. Tokyo in particular seems to be the most unstable of these cities, sometimes referred to as "The Matchstick City".

Can they show Ghost in the Shell on TechTV? They'd have to do a lot of editing if it were required.

Umm... it's cable. They can do whatever they want.

Not bloody likely. Even if the show is aired late at night there are still certain things they can and can't broadcast because kids could still watch it because not all parents have a TV with channel lock and v-chip features. No TV channel, cable or not, wants to get in a legal battle with some stupid parent hell-bent on getting a show off television.

I would be very surprised if Ghost in the Shell gets shown unedited. Let's just hope they don't get too editing happy.

I hate to break it to you, but there is no law forcing cable companies to pander to idiots--it's just standard policy. That would SO break the first amendmant to disallow cable the right to show WHATEVER they want unless it encourages breaking of the law. You pay for cable--you pay to have it pumped in to your house. You pay for the lines at one time or another. That's like saying they could make pay-per-view porn illegal. Baka...

No, but there are parental groups that would get on the channels ass faster and worse than ebola that most are to scared to question the current norm.
