fdd's right...fata morgana posted this a few months back, but that was on the old forum, so it's not your fault (since there's really no way you woulda known that)
i just wanna remind you that some of us are stuck with a dial-up connection, and there's nothing like a huge image to kill it...just try to give a link to something this big in the future...
as for the picture itself, i was able to recognize about 1/5 of the characters last time i checked...maybe i'll put up with the 90 minute download again sometime to see if i can identify any more...

Well I got about 80-90. Mostly from Gunbuster, Tenchi, Macross, Giant Robo, Bubblegun Crisis, and Slayers.

hmm since i have so much trouble with their chibi forms i didn't even try to do anything but change it from an image inserted to a link... ah well , I did recognize the lupin characters though...
