well i think that maguzi really sux. the shows that they show r really cheap and old. I mean really, teanage mutant ninja turtles, i used to watch that when i was 4 (im 14 now). totaly spies is for girls, i understand that girls watch it, but not 3 times a day, code lako is just stupid, the only not bad show is teen titans. I think that they should show toonami monday through friday and maguzi on saturdays.

Miguzi stinks. That block is just wrong.

For the programming, most of the block is unwatchable. I can't stand Totally Spies! or Code: LYOKO. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Teen Titans are OK, but the constant rerun mode has the block going stale fast. The least they could do is make some changes, and when I mean changes, I don't mean put an unnecessary rerun of the block on Sundays, which just runs the shows into the ground even faster. Changes make a block avoid monotony. How else do you think Toonami thrives on only once a week?

Programming aside, the presentation for the block is the worst and most mentally painful I've ever seen on television. Every time I see one of those creatures, I think, "Must destroy human ki-- *beep* Ooh, my pizza is ready! Smile"

Beserk, learn to spell before i refer to you as another n00b....

Also: Miguzi is doing one thing better than Toonami ever did at that time slot....ratings. Higher ratings means more money from advertisers, more money means more new shows. So you don't like the block, fine, then don't watch it; leave the necessary evil be and watch it reap the sows of it's workings.

What is peoples' obsession with hating Miguzi? Just don't watch it. If you think all the shows on it are terrible, then guess what: it's probably not intended for you. Is there something absolutely abominable about Cartoon Network having an afternoon block for all the little tikes? Hasn't the introduction of Miguzi only made Toonami better by cutting out the shows aimed at a youngest audience, and freeing up space for more shows in the grey area between Toonami and AS?
Is Miguzi really such a bad thing for you?

Well its better to have it this way instead of having that crap on toonami. Personally, I could probably get into Code Lyoko if I could just see it from the beginning.

the worst thing about Miguzi is the repetivness of it. Actually, it's pretty much the only thing wrong with it.

Well, mostly i started to watch toonami and cartoonnetwork at all because there was nothing else to watch at that time. Then i was like "Wow, this show is really good" And i started to watch it more and more. And guess what, there is nothing to watch now also. And with maguzi, i think that cartoonnetwork is starting to become like nick kids (nickolodeon chanel in the morning). As maguzi took over the toonami spot, the whole cartoonnetwork became like that. I hate thouse small pieces of cartoons (in digital) between comercials and cartoons. I think that this chanel should have soemthing for the teens at least once a day ( For example when totaly spies is shown for the third time that day at 9:30 or teen titans for second time at 10).

PS. I started this post to know if other ppl have the same oppinion about maguzi as i do, not to get a lecture about my spelling from an admin or something. Forums are not a school class or a letter, they r like caht rooms, and i dont want to waste time on checking my spelling rather then expressing my ideas.

Then go outside and play, or read a book, listen to the radio or maybe even do your homework. There's no reason you can't find something else to do besides sit on your ass and watch TV after school. Rolling Eyes

If that's how you think all forums are like that, then you kind n00b are in for a rude awakening. Hell i'll be lenient here, learn how to spell 4 letter words and I won't be pissed off at you....except for your rampant....well, I don't wanna say.... Rolling Eyes

FDD! Bad! No biscuit!
You don't need to flame someone in their first few posts. Give him a little bit. And he didn't express his opinion that poorly.
Oh, and while I do agree with Nobu that a teenager doesn't have to necessarily sit around on one's duff after school, I'm of the opinion that if a family pays to have cable television, there should be something on the air for at least most age groups and interest groups at any given time. There are already plenty of children's blocks on the air after school, after all.

berserk, no offense was meant, it's just here we prefer people to use actual english. internet lingo just comes off as unintelligible and well to quote Mr. Horse "no sir, I don't like it". It's out of courtesy to each other that we stay away from u, r, 2, and so forth.

As for becoming like Nick, I don't see it as neccesarily a bad thing. There are aspects about Nick that CN could and has taken to heart--- like ratings. What CN does not do that Nick is famous for is Screw over it's shows creators. They very easily could have kicked Genddy and Craig out and ruined everything they had ever touched but they don't and won't. They are Cartoon Network and you know what they love cartoons. You talk with any of the execs and there is a passion in them for this stuff. I'm sorry that they don't show enough anime for you... wait no I'm not. I would be ultra super mega happy to see all anime leave CN. Does that mean I hate anime? no. I love animation and I also pay attention to what is appropriate. More people need to think about that before they start complaining about changes they have made or you think they should make.

To simplify Andro's post: CN has good intentions and won't do anything to overly hurt us, and turn all of your pro-anime energy into pro-animation energy.

About thouse "ratings" that you talk about, who actually rates CN, I have never seen or heard of CN asking the customers about their oppinion. Maybe you should ask the people, just the regular customers about which show they like better. According to that survey (" what williams street blocks do you watch") More people watch only toonami rather then maguzi, more people watch toonami and adult swim rather then all three of them. Looking at that, I think that a lot of people prefer toonami rather then maguzi.

Nielsen Media Research. I bet they have a good understanding of statistics.
