I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the track and the artist name of the piece of music that was used for one of the toonami adverts.

It is the advert where little pieces of different shows (including Gundam Wing, Johnny Quest, Tenchi Muyo, etc) were put together, and there was heavy metal music in the background.

I ahve been looking for the track for a while now, so it would be great if someone could inform me.

Many Thanks,
Anand. (IT99AC@HOTMAIL.COM)

Chances are, if it is old enough to have those shows in it, the song was by Joe Boyd Virgil. You might give a little better description if you want more help than that.

Toonami uses techno, not heavy metal music.

...unless maybe you're speaking of Toonami from a foreign country...

EDIT: *Checks Anand's profile*

*Notices that he's from the UK*

Well, that answers my question. Laughing

Anyway, I think this site should answer your question. Wait for the popup ad to show up, then click the "Music" button at the lower-right corner of the screen. Are one of those tracks the one you're looking for?

They did once in 1999, for a line-up commercial BTW.
