I have 3 shows: Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Gragonball GT. Basically, Toonami was created to show those 3 shows.

I really wasn't a militant Toonami fan before DBZ was on.....

I am going to be frank. DB is ok till later DBZ stinks worse than a hippo when its taking a crap. DBGT is like dumping horse crap on a skunk and that dipping him in sewage. Toonami is evil for showing these shows so much as the shows themself are evil. Forgive me.

I won't go to that extreme. DBZ did it's job, it kept me interested and watching through to the end. Why? Anticipation for the fights.

Maybe it was an experiment in the attention spans of children.

Besides comedy and adventure, the fights were legendary. One of the Cardinal reasons why people(Including Andromaton and myself) stuck around for the long haul.

The only other reason I stuck around was Goten. The animation blew, the writing blew, the everything else blew. The fights and Goten were DBZ saving grace.

There are very few things saving GT from being kicked off Toonami. One is the figts Twisted Evil . Two is the music(my opinion. What?! It's good). And Three is something new(SSJ4).

And I like the show so far.

From today's Anime on DVD front page:

Quote:
With the GT series coming to a close soon with the end of the series being released, there's questions coming up about plans to get the beginning of the series out since FUNimation skipped a chunk and went right to the Baby saga. According to a post to the AoD forums this morning by FUNimation rep Lance Heiskell, "The first two volumes of the first DBGT saga will be released July 13. There will be 5 volumes total and then followed by the GT movie (tv special)."

Looks like CN's fall schedule might be shaping up. Wink

GT isn't too bad. I really expected somthing much worse, actually, I expected somthing that . . . would make armada look good.

I wasn't expecting anything but a total mess up. GT was made just for the money in my opion. Thats no good. The whole DB saga just went too far. Stretched it way too far...
