UAV Entertainment has partnered with DiC Entertainment to release more animated titles on DVD and VHS as part of UAV's Animation Station catalog library.

The first titles to be released in this deal are Heathcliff: Fish Tales and Heathcliff: Terror of the Neighborhood, both arriving on 2.24.04 (with DVDs retailing at $14.99). Each title features the voice talents of the legendary Mel Blanc as Heathcliff, and includes nine episodes.

UAV will continue to distribute select Heathcliff titles throughout 2004, along with other DiC properties planned for DVD/VHS release, including The Care Bears, Sylvanian Families, The Littles, Sabrina: The Animated Series, Inspector Gadget, and Super Mario Bros.

Heathcliff, Heathcliff, no one should...
Terrorize the neighborhood...
But Heathcliff just won't be undone...
Playing pranks on everyone...

classic cartoon music never dies, and i haven't seen the show since it was on tv...

looks to me like everyone's jumping on the "old cartoons to dvd" bandwagon as of late, but don't take that as a complaint in any sense...

What about Game Master, at least I think that was the title. That was some good stuff there. I know I broke at least one NES controler and gun while that show was on.

I missed the Hilander cartoon. Doesnt translate well to kids. But thats probaly why it didnt last.

I do remember Legend of Zelda being one of the Nintendo cartoon blocks thought. Right about the time the Mr T cartoon was on.

And then I just realized how odd it is for an 18 year old male to be this excited over the release of the Care Bears on DVD . . .

I've seen the Highlander series. It was nothing earth shattering. They never showed the guys heads actually get cut off.

And Gummi Bears was awesome.

But I'm still excited about Care Bears. ^_^
