Does anyone know where I can download a really good SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, or N64 emulator? If you're willing to give one to me, plaese do.
Anyone? Please?

I do believe we're not allowed to talk about that on the message board. However, if you really are that desperate you could just instant message one of us, maybe then you might get some information.

they don't make money off them other systems anymore so it's not a big deal. Now if he asked for, lets say, ps2 disk images... well, that would be a whole differnt thing altogether.

But, what about XBox emulators? Microsoft loses money when they sell an XBox, so that means that if your stance is that "if they don't make money on it, it's ok.", then that means that XBox emulation should be ok, of course you'll have to buy the games...

that and he asked for emulators not the roms, he might (laughs) be trying to develop one of his own or something where it would be legitimate

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

as in activilly sold nimrod and more than likely the loss per unit is so small that it doesn't really matter considering the consoles themselves (all of them) are barely sold at a profit.
If something costs you 150 dollars to make, you then go out and sell it for 155 dollars because you want market saturation and will make your real money on the accessories you wouldn't mind terribly if you had to sell if for 145 dollars as long as enough accessories are sold. You catch me?

Yeah, but when Xbox first came out there were losing a TON of money on each console. Now they are cheaper to make, but when they came out, and I don't know to what extent this is true, but I heard that Micro$oft was losing $200 on each console, planning to make it back on the games and such.

well that was only part of the plan, they were also planning on buying out sony and nintendo so as to get a monopoly and setting up the Windows GCN system ^_^ ...ok maybe not but you never know
