You want to see something better than SD Gundam. Look at your toilet. You want to see something that's actually funny using SD people? Go get the original SD shorts. Those are funny as hell.

It's not Gundam. Period. I think it's a good children's show. I think the cel-shading fits it, especially since it sets it apart from real Gundam. But this show isn't what Gundam is all about. This show is Superior Defender. It is not Gundam. I suggest the rest of you think along the same lines.

Well, the Japanese SD shows were Gundam, and hillarious to boot. These aren't. They're- well, crap.

Can someone explain to me what the difference is? Cause I saw Super Deformed Gunadm that was old and it made fun of the Gundam universe up till Char's Counter Attack and it had little char and amuro running around.

i'm gonna try something positive concerning this show: i want that kid's rollerblades...

anyway, from what i've seen of the show, it fits the intended toonami age group well, and if i were a few years younger i think i'd really be into it...the art style is unique compared to the rest of the block's offerings, but i think it fits in well enough...

cp hit on the biggest problem that most people seem to be having, sd gundam is not "real" gundam...anyone going into this show with that mindframe is destined to be disappointed...take it for what it is and if you don't like it, just don't watch it...

Exactly. It's a kids show. If it reminds you of Pokemon, it should. There's a reason that is starts the block off: older kids have stuff ot do after school. This is a show for little kids.

Ditto the little kids thing. I must say that the show seems like its demographic is below the normal target audience of toonami. I may be wrong but I thought that toonami's target audience was older than 5 years old. SDG is not a bad show, but it seems like it belongs on Nick Jr. rather than toonami.

My conclusion, SDG very good show becaues they did think it out and despite being shaded, it isn't poorly done (minus the standard translaion snafu's) but wrong time slot.

I just watched a few episodes of this series, and now I'm feeling symptoms of nausea. This show is on the wrong block. This shouldn't be on Toonami. It's more along the lines of Kids' WB! or SVES material. CN should put new SD Gundam on SVES and bring back new Rurouni Kenshin to Toonami in its 5.0PM time slot. That way, we'd all be happily-dappily and singing in fields of sunflowers and dandelions.

I never managed to sit through it. But wasnt Hamtaro aimed at the same audience?

this show seems to be a mix between Gundam, Transformers Armada, Zoids, and Hamtaro.
