Am I a terrible person because I crack up whenever I read "fap-fap-fap?"  Reminds me of my favorite webcomic, which...I won't dare name around here.

About the only reasons I can think of for airing the non-remastered version are:
1) Gainax wants more money for the TV rights to the remastered version.
or
2) ADV wants to use this as a way to sell DVDs.
or
3) CN chose the non-remastered version, just like how they chose the straight dub of Super Milk Chan instead of the Americanized dub.
Either way, I feel sorry for those people watching Eva for the first time.

yeah i havent watched it in a long time but him doing that caused me to form a strange opinon of him... i wanna know if anyone actually knows about the names and symbols in that anime cuz its killin me to know all of that and have no one to explain it to... once you findo out about everything the show becomes so different it might as well be a new anime all on its own..
crap this is over a month old too... dammmit (why is that rule in effect?!?!?!) |

Because people go digging through archives and bring up long-settled discussions. Really, the month-old rule is more of a guideline. The amount of intelligent discussion you add to a topic should be proportional to how old the topic is. For example, if you say "Heh" in a month-old topic, you piss people off. But if you make people think with at least a couple paragraphs, you can bumb a two-year-old topic. Though it's a good courtesy to mention at the beginning of the post that you're bumping it, just so everyone looks at the dates.

ooo my bad... i was being unclear again (unlike Johnbono thanks for clearing that up, are there any other rules/guidelines i should be aware of???)
i know what all of the names in Eva mean i was wondering if anyone else knew cuz im like dying to have an intelligent conversation cuz most of the stuff on that show is pretty deep and as someone who knows alot about religion (although im not religous) id like to learn more and share my knowledge at the same time
