Um, no he didn't. He simply made a joke that maybe Mohammed(sp?) himself would probably want to take one of them for a wife. I didn't sya it was the alcohol in the wine that was good for you, more of that it was an added bonus. Basicly alcohol isn't bad in smaller doses. A: 'Path to Grond' is an inside joke that John needs to explain. I wasn't there.
B: What does it matter that Mormons believe they convert the dead? Either the dead people are already at their final destination, or they're just plain dead. It's stupid, not wrong.
C: What bugs me about the religious micromanagement of people's lives is the fact that it's not the religion keeping them from killing themselves. Religions just say it's a good idea. The LDS church hasn't been along for very long you realize. When we perform baptisms for the deceased family members, we strech it out through SEVERAL generations. Why do you think that that the largest geneology database in the WORLD is in Utah? And I never said anything about baptizing your friends. Listen, look at it this way. If you died and never had a chance to take a honest look at the church, you still have a chance that one of your relatives might perform that ordinance for you. Even then, in heaven or whatever you believe it is, you still have agency which allows you to chose for yourself up there. I feel better about that than I feel about students at my High school trying to "save" their friends because unless they join and come unto christ, their going to hell. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!
