i was thinking about how toonami would handle some edits earlier today, and while most of their troubles wouldn't occur until we're far into the series, i'm wondering how they'll tackle the issue of a drug on their block...

Look, bottom line, it's going to be edited to bejesus and back, and will be desecrated upon. Kenshin's quest is best served on a DVD player.

Hopefully, edited Kenshin will be better than no Kenshin.

Once again I'm taken for being in a whole other country other than my own, I'm not in Japan. Anyway, yes on Argentine's Cartoon Network did show a steady run of the Kenshin series up to the last episode. And I must say I watched every bit of it, only thing I'll complain to the series was about one of the voice actors but that's all.

I never seen the anime Rurouni Kenshin, but ill like to watch itstarting the 17-th, i just hope the dub keeps the story similiar to the japanese story, what are Majorthings you gies think are goanna get changed or edited?

There's a lot of blood that is going to be edited, of course -- heads getting chopped off, people getting impaled with swords, etc. There's a lot of references to hell which is indeed going to be edited. Things around those lines. There's LOTS of Sake, so stuff like that is probably going to be edited...they might just call is water or something...
I'm pretty sure the dub is going to keep the story the same, so there's nothing to worry about there.
I probably missed a lot of other stuff, so we'll just have to wait and see.
