Ok, so last night I saw the promo for the Cyborg 009 Marathon they're gonna run next weekend...... Confused I can take a temporary change in the lineup, but does anybody know if this is the end of .hack//Sign for good Shocked , or just for this weekend, I mean they haven't gotten to the end yet, and if you ask me they should finish what they started, seeing how it's my favorite show on the block right now.

Replies welcome, wanting to know if there are more fans out there for a show that seems to be being brushed aside by CN brass.....so what else is new? (Sailor Moon) Mad

They have shown sailor moon through several times, .hack//sign has also shown through a number of times. I enjoy both sailor moon and .hack//sign. I just bought the DVD's for sailor moon and have plans to aquire .hack//sign. Our favorites can't live on CN forever, but our shelves are fair game.

It's temporary.
//SIGN comes back on Feb. 7th, same .hack time, same .hack channel. Wink

to be fair to Taro_M, .hack's only had one complete run on tv thus far, but as for your question, yea, it'll be back soon enough...

what should be of some concern is where the show goes come april, but by then it's second run will be complete and it won't be as much of an issue...

Ok, so what I ment was that I was hoping they'd finish this run, mostly since I really didn't understand the ending the first time I saw it. Once this run is done, I can understand them laying the series to rest....

I too understand a series can't be re-run forever......
(DBZ notwithstanding) Wink

Anyway, I look forward to seeing the Cyborgs again, nice change of pace.... as for .hack//Sign, I, in the words of Spike, just "want to see how it ends..."

Okay I realize that I'm going to sound really stupid but... you guys have said that they have shown .hack several times through but I was wondering if that was really the way the series ends? I just assumed that there were at least a few more episodes that tie up some loose threads like exactly what is Aura and who is the "Voice" and why Tsukasa was chosen and alll that. So am I just hopelessly lost or what? Embarassed

It's in the games. Why? Because that's the way they planned it.

Project .Hack

A.K.A.

Best...marketing...ever

Let's see supposing you bought everything when it came out. $50 per game with 4 of those, and $35 per limited edition DVD with 6 of those...that's at least $410+ right there alone, and that's still not counting the soundtracks, mangas, .hack//dusk, plushies, and other stuff. Simply put, they are slowly driving everyone to bankruptcy. What next, an actual MMORPG of The World?

Don't forget matrix reloaded and revolutons, plus the animatrix and enter the matrix. You really have to watch/play them all to understand the story.

So your telling me that to understand the finer points of this anime I have to go out and buy four games AND and a playstation 2 (is that the system they are on?)?! Shocked I WISH I had that kind of cash laying around! I guess I'll just have to try to find some website out there that has the info, its better than not knowing and infinitely healthier for my wallet!
