*Runs up in Mech, dodgeing the Ideon's powerful, albiet a bit slower, blows. Touches the Ideon's shin with the S-Gundam's hand (just how frikken tall is this Ideon anyway? I'll assume I can touch it's shin with my hand if we're both standing. If the height is off, then I touched its foot or waist or whatever.) Then runs away, laying cover fire with eveything he's got and dodging blows.*

Yeah, ok, I touched your foot. Damn that thing is ginormous. Although, since you JUST used your Id Gun, your Id gauge is pretty much depleted and you should detach into the three separate parts if you tax your mech a bit more.
